I just want Robbie Neill back at Norwood...in any capacity.
It is criminal we let him go....someone so totally Norwood should never be gone from our club.
Maybe he is just broadening his experiences but I see him coaching one day....hopefully us...and hopefully soon.
Oh yes and bring back Roger with you OK ?

Not really totally Norwood SDK, from St. Kilda and was another run of the mill recruit who consistantly played for 5 - 10 years for the club...

Someone like Michael Aish is someone so totally Norwood, as you put it... Agreed about Robbie as a coach though, think he would demand respect from players and as far as I know, he has a small amount of coaching experience. Pretty sure he works at the SANFL in a development role and also was an assistant to Darrel Hart for the SANFL state team...

I was one who thought that Robbie retired too early and should have played for another couple of years. Is still in good knick as well, but don't think he has a kick anywhere locally though...

Mark Mickan's CV?

Postby beenreal » Tue Jun 17, 2008 10:44 am

Slightly off topic but still about coaches. I have a bet with a Mate that Mark Mickan had some sort of coaching role with The Power at some stage. I say no. There's an evening of free drinking to the winner.

I think he did in the early stages have a gig at the Power. Might be a costly exercise but i reckon your mate's on the money

Yes, had at least 1 year with Port Power after losing his assistant coaching role at Adelaide.

You do have good sources!
