People wouldn't say things like it was a dummy spit or whatever if that player had their whole story told (in Tim Delvins case). The only calls like that would be made from bitter supporters of that club the player left.

Thats the question I am hoping North supporters can help me with.... I will add that almost every week its "senior" or more "high profile" players that come in instead... (I think).

I like the look of our side this week. Great to see Petrenko, Colville and Hentschel back in the side. R.Fiacchi can't be far away either. My tip an Eagles victory by 4-5 goals. Will unfortunately be missing the game this week due to my young lads birthday. Will it be on the tube or will someone be broadcasting it on radio.

Promised a game nearly every week on a Mon or Tues so far this year. I only say "polite, disciplined" etc to make sure those that do not know Tim do not think it is an attitude problem. I am fully aware being polite will not get you a game...

I think Timmy would feel pretty hard done by right now, questioning what more he has to do to get a game in the underperforming league side. Surely his form in the 2's warrants a recall to the side, at least a spot on the interchange. He would be a definate starter at West Adelaide ??
It would be a worry for North fans that young Tim doesn't get to the point where he is fed up with the lack of league opportunity and either looks to another club (obviously before the cut off date - June 30 I think) or goes and plays in a local league where he will get a hell of a lot more money than the $75 odd dollars he gets for playing ressies.

This exact same thing happened last week with Centrals after talented youngster Alex Stengle "retired" from the club after getting BOG or close to it, in the ressies for 3 or 4 weeks in a row and felt frustrated at his lack of opportunity at a higher level. I have seen Timmy Delvins play a few times and rate the kid. It's funny, last night I was plodding around on a few SANFL clubs websites last night and stumbled across "Rooster TV" on North's website. I watched an interesting interview with James Moore and Jars and I found it interesting to watch and listen to ANJ single out blokes like Cunningham, Pfieffer and DELVINS to play a lot more senior footy this year. Interesting ???

Hmm we are short of tall defenders at Glenelg, if North don't want him, we'll talk to him...

You would want to get in quick as there is another SANFL club already making some waves about getting him and before the June 30th cut off.

Is that club a team that wears tri-colours. The Eagles love taking a chance on a recycled player from another sanfl club. We could use another decent defender.

Why is Jarman keeping this kid out? He is one of the most polite, disciplined and hard working kids I have seen.

Hard to say if he is capable of making it at league level. Are his foot skills good enough? I was at the North/Glenelg reserves clash a few weeks ago and some of his disposals and in particular shots for goal left a lot to be desired. Seemed to lack confidence by foot. Seems like a hard nut though and put his body on the line.

Whether Delvins is good enough is not the main question.
The question is how does Ricky Ebert get in before about a dozen others. :butthead:

joelie, I know Tim quite well through his older bro and dad from my days at the prossie cricket club and have coached Tim before. Havent seen alot of his footy although I know he is handy but as a person, he is very much as you say. Maybe he is just too quiet around the place and should voice his opinions at training more and maybe become more of a leader and show the coaches he can do it that way too.

Hey, he can always go to Sturt and win a MM and play in a flag :);)

Sturt could use Schubert in the 2's ;)...seriously, I hope we are not talking to him as we have Darren Gregory sitting in the 2's pushing his way into the league side. Its not a knock on Schubert, just we have a few of that type as it is.

You have nailed it NFC - once he improves his disposal he will be a regular. He must have been close this week though?

As for Ricky Ebert's selection - he would want to be almost BOG to keep his place. Just hasn't looked like it the times he has been promoted to the Seniors.

I reckon will be a close hard game and hope that even though is the TV game supporters from both clubs turn out in numbers.
Can see this game going down to the wire.
Reckon the odds would be worth a bet on both teams!

(Although family duties in Clare mean i'm not there so thank you ABC for the telecast and Ishould hear the announcements anyway with the near sound system! Sorry Wedgie no donut or carrot sticks!!)

Cocks by 4 goals , still no rovers fairy is a joke any one who only gets an ave. of 10 disposals a game as no 1 rover cant play and he cant. No good having good forwards if u cant get the ball to them.
