Ah yes 1986. I can just remember that year, but being 9 years old at the time it's becoming a little blurry. That'd be 21 years ago now then wouldn't it? Interesting.

I think ehl was referring to recent history. :wink:

The eagles have to beat the roosters yet!!!! and if you think back to two weeks ago they couldnt do that. the subject should the be. THE FIRST TIME IN 4 YEARS IT ISNT A CENTRALS VS EAGLES GRAND FINAL WOOHOO

How refreshing we conveniently forget the preceeding history of a newly formed club...

If only this attitude could permiate a little bit further up Port Rd..... :wink:

Mind you EHL I can't blame you for wanting to ignore the percentage boosters you regularly used to provide for us prior to 1991 :wink: :wink:

I don't wish to back up your trolling post here Tassie :wink: .But in my case I am old enough to really remember all those games dished out to my team why back when.
A certain game against Glenelg springs to mind the Glenelg board had sacked the coach(history repeats itself) the players revolted he was reinstalled.And glenelg had the honor of pre afl days of having the largest score kicked against it in a fourth quarter. :wink:
It goes both ways Tassie and yes I also remember the thrashings you lot handed out. :wink:
