Shit happens players come and go
Latest Eagles rumour his replacement might be coming from another SANFL club but it’s just a rumour

I know it does but the statement read he is no longer playing SANFL yet not long after is rumoured to be at Centrals ? Not hard to fill in the gaps.

End result he isn’t an eagle I guess they paid a transfer fee
But shit happens he is gone

Welcome back Boydy!
Whatever his faults, he did win a premiership with us in 2010. Can't hold a grudge for 10 years. I'm very glad to have him back, and obviously the club is too.

Change of coach makes a difference . Back where they belong.

Previous coach too pig headed? of current coach too lenient?

While everyone is focusing on Boyd to Centrals
Aside from dogs fans that’s understandable.
What hasn’t been mentioned in SA Footy unless I’ve missed it .
It’s on other footy forums like the Eagles nest and on Facebook pages like fans of the SANFL
Or if you like Boyd has left on his leaving rumours have surfaced . That the Eagles are in talks with a Norwood midfielder who isn’t needed by Norwood with their star recruits. I have no idea who it is but seeing Boyd is gone salary cap clearance and possibly transfer fee coming in . Maybe the eagles can afford another recruit .
One door closes another one opens
Rumour says Norwood player was in Flag winning Norwood side is that 2014 or 2019 seconds

Best for both Boyd and Eagles to start over. Sheedy must be free to develop younger players with established
ones like Toumpas, Lonergan, Foote, Poole and Ferns in the midfield area.
This season we were caught short all over the ground in a majority of games. The defence at times got out muscled
and lacked genuine rebound while up forward we played the whole season one key forward short!
That said Sheedy has players to work with who could and should get better, adding depth and selection pressure
for 2020. After missing out on Broadband and Dougass plus Boyd back to Dogs, we obviously have room for a couple of
recruits still and really must back the new coach with the strongest playing squad possible. That was unfortunately
not the case in 2019 and the Board and Football department can wear it for a change!
Right now the midfield mix could only benefit with bolstering more though.
