Tim Weatherald?

The audible booing from the crowd (listening in on LIFE FM) when Mr. Weatherald was taking a shot on goal at some point in the second half suggests that the Sturt fans did more ripping into premiership players than did the Norwood fans.

I do hope that the more level-headed Sturt fans told these pillocks to pull their heads in.

Not much of a boo was happening, was a critical time in the game so would have been booing whoever was taking a shot for goal. If we wanted to boo him we had many chances to do so before that shot on goal!

Timmy was serviceable, but not best on ground like they were saying on the radio..crane and farmer best on in my opinion, also Puopulo and thomas were good for Norwood.

Good signs for sturt as they had to find something after a terrible first half, and did so, probs should have won by a few more goals, poor kicking could have hurt us early in the last term. But full credit to norwood whose tackling and pressure in the first half was very good.

Wicksy a receiver.....might appear that way to the uneducated! In my opinion sheer pace and footy nouse that leaves his opponents chasing "fresh air"......Keep up the great work Daniel , you are having a great year!

Sturt won an intriguing encounter and still got a raw deal 27-12.

Norwood were exceptional early and did their homework superbly via
Brodie and Tim.

I was extremely concerned at half-time. We lacked accountability but all that changed in our Champagne "Premiership Quarter." I think Norwood can make the 5.

Sturt will improve as they face their fierce rivals WWT and the Bays away over the next two weeks.

Please get to Oval Avenue, shout loud and proud.

Spot on phantom! Agree 100%! Has come back and is playing some of his best footy! And for the record, Rick approached him to come back!

Have to agree with Pseudo in that there was a fair bit of booing from the crowd very clearly heard on the radio coverage and I think the commentry team even mentioned it a couple of times. However I didn't notice if it was specifically directed at Timmy or at all the Norwood players in equal measure. Either way I doubt they shed many tears over over it.

Good call Phantom. Wicksy is in fine form this year. There are plenty of players going around who might not go quite as hard as some others. Wicks is a true runner of the footy. That's his key strength. Oh, and of course his pin point perfect disposals. Class act in my opinion.

Another player that impresses me more every game is Farmer. Thought he was superb on Sunday.

Well done Norwood on putting in a good effort but not enough talent to beat a team the calibre of Sturt.

Must say that Tim did look taller and stronger in a man's guernsey and not some baby blue mardi-gras outfit!

I'd be amazed if Sturt fans were booing Tim Weatherald. He'd rather be out there in Double Blue this year.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Quite correct Barto. I was in front of the old stand and did not hear any booing directed at Soccers. A lot directed toward the umpires though. The radio commentator even made an observation during the 1st 1/4 that it was good to hear NO booing when Tim was involved in the play !

Lindsay Head [Torrens] was not involved in body clashes either - everyone who lined him up missed, including Neil Kerley, because he side-stepped so beautifully. Only the opposing fans saw that as "soft".
