I don't think there are many clubs that would accept that level of mediocrity for that length of time. The earliest we will know is 2016, I'll make a diary note

Spell_Check: Out of interest, is Taylor Walker the youngest player to kick 9 or more goals in a senior SANFL match?

I only have the instances of 10 goals or more, and I reckon we could figure it out with that, by starting a new topic in the History Forum.

Certainly not Passador. No Eagles player has kicked 5 goals or more in a match 6 weeks in a row until now, and no one in the records I have in that stat from 2006 has done so either. Not even Chambers last year.

5 this week and 35 for the season how many more goals needed for Scott Morphett's club record.

My gut feel is he is the youngest with this one. Can't think of any others - and looking at the thread on it, Neil Hawke seems the closest. I don't recall Stephen Kernahan having any 9 goal tallies in his first season that may have qualified (given his 10 goals v Victoria was when he was 20)

Every post is sacred.
Every post is great.
If a post is wasted,
God gets quite irate.

Let the heathen spill theirs
On the dusty ground.
God shall make them pay for
Each post that can't be found.

Every post is wanted.
Every post is good.
Every post is needed
In your neighbourhood.

 (apologies to Monty Python  )

fester, a serious reply - he's certainly won more hard balls than you have!

And a very valid one. Great on the lead but not so flash after that , no Brant Chambers re contested ball . Oh wow , the Eagles . What happens when they consistently finish outside the top 5 . I have always said it spells big trouble for them as they have a very small number of supporters now . They have lost a few this year and they want the coaches head. To be quite honest , they are an interesting supporter base , with little idea.

Never have consistently finished out of the top 5 unlike Strut who seemed to have a penchant for wood at one stage! Since 1991, the Eagles have finished in the 5 more times than any other side - source the 2008 media guide.

Havelburg was 19 when he kicked a lazy 14 last year, apologies for bringing that up on a Norwood thread

Can someone remind me whether 27 is greater than 6?
