norwood and eagles the next two rounds. will be 5 and 3
then have sturt, west and south pretty good run for the next 5 weeks beat sturt and we are right back up there

In all seriousness which team out of Glenelg, Sturt and Central which North replace in the top 3
i think glenelg and sturt will fall away
in all seriousness north wernt that far away from the bays with a few good ins for the roosters like gill and ladhams

I hope your right, becuase as a Central supporter and what i have seen this year i think the Dogs would be the most likely out of those three, but will save that debate for another thread.

In fact, it's inpossible- especially at SANFL/AFL level.
I thought me might or may have had 4 Boundary umpires? 1 for each point of the square, sharing half of each side of the oval?
If not, that's the direction we need to go in.
Yeah, it might be fun to rubbish the Boundary Ump's but they are baing asked to achieve the impossible.

ok fine if they cant keep up something has to change because it cost us a goal.
4 umpires is the logical answer and should be implimented asap!
as i said it was more out of frustration than anything personnal toward the ump.

Okay we've had both points of view on the incident lets stick to discussing the game now...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

lol, good call!

I did it once on an oval the size of Footy Park and despite being at my fittest I would still be miles behind umpires these days, I managed to complete my day with not one error.

If boundary umpires don't feel they're up for it then they should give up the game.

Yes its a hard job, and I agree with the concept of 4 boundary umpires and 2 field umpires with the boundary umpires being able to call frees similar to soccer, it makes sense but too much sense for the SANFL, they'd rather have boundary umpires behind the game and 3 field umpires all looking into the sun!

Thats why the Bays shouldn't be cheering too loud, should have won by 70 plus but they also had a lot of down time and unimpressive footy, just there up time was better than Norths

We're not cheering too loud at all, but I'm sure that any team would love to be sitting in our position ( which we haven't been in for a long time ). Everyone here loves to berate the Bays.

That's fine. We've plenty of work to do, and I'm sure Mickan and the Bays are working on it. To beat the Roosters, Doggies, Eagles and Sturt and still see room for improvement is exactly where I'd want to be.

Enjoy your week. I know I will !

Yep I think that is spot on baysman and I haven't read or heard any bay fans getting too carried away. There is nothing wrong with confidence and optimism. If it was North in that position I would be pretty pleased without naming ourselves Premiers given we have played 7 rounds of 23 so far.

Maybe ANJ trying to detract attention away from another loss in an important game? I doubt anyone could honestly say that the Bays got the best of the umps?

Overall the umpires were fine.
How can we expect North players to be disciplined when their coach isnt?
Suspend him for 20 weeks.

Andrew Jarman is a "Bloody Good Coach"

He says the things that need to be said..!

He instills confidence in his players to make decisions under pressure...

Have any of you people ever coached..?
