A disappointing effort (besides Q1) by Sturt. Full credit to the Eagles who pulled themselves out of a pretty big hole. Great watching them in the old Torrens strip and playing back at Thebarton, which I reckon is a pretty good ground to watch footy at.

We've certainly come back to the pack. Did the boys start believeing the hype?

From what I saw on Saturday (and last week against Glenelg), too many of our players are not running hard enough. Eagles had loose men all over the place and made us pay when rebounding out of defence. Killed in the middle too.

This Saturday could be a real danger game. I can see us either just going down or winning by 15 goals +...

Well done to the Eagles far too good IMO. Apologies to Eagles supporters as i will put my hand up and say that I was one who thought you would slip slightly. I was wrong. Sturt did stop running BUT the Eagles did start running so all credit to them.

Some changes need to be made because the balance isnt quite right yet. As I have stated all year we were not playing well in those first 4 games and obviously still aren't . We had a good 2 quarters against North and that was the only time we put tohgether 2 good ones in a row.

Well done Eagles .

How could we lose today BRUCE tossed the coin one if not the best West Torrens (and then WWT) of the 80's.

Go you EAGLES

Damn, missed the toss from the great player, 1989 State of Origin Captain, BRUCE BRUCE BRUCE.

Fantastic team effort by the Eagles to turn this game around, and with it, possibly our whole season. The crowd seemed stunned at the complete momentum swing after Sturt had played so well in the first quarter. McKenzie led the way with a super game, and Powell and Treeby were excellent also. Passador and Grocke continued with their very good form since returning from injury, and showed again how much we missed them in the first few games. That result should give the players a lot of confidence going into the tough games ahead.

It was wonderful to be back at Thebarton again, the Oval looked great, and I just wish we would play there more often.

Agreed, that part of the day was absolutely fantastic. Apart from getting stung by the $5 parking :(
