Big Phil that draw was last year and is possible to occur again, however like you i suspect a North win but a fighting effort from the lads from the south can be expected particularly after what i saw last Friday against Norwood. Shame we are on TV again we rarely win or indeed play well when televised, shy types we Southies.

No offence i think South rarely win anywhere, anytime. It won't matter whether the game is on tv or not North by over 50 pts

I wouldn't be so sure to all those "experts" who think North will win this and win comfortably. Apart from the rubbish game South played against Sturt - they have been very good otherwise considering everyone (me included!) wrote them off pre-season.

North are off the boil at the moment, injuries have not helped settling the side including the new recruits and even though we showed a clean injury sheet last Friday there is mail out of Prospect that one of our big men is in doubt which will further weaken us. I wouldn't be suprised if South rolled us and if they do then there will need to be some hard questions posed to those in charge at North along with some under preforming highly paid players IMO.

Its lucky Archard kept an eye out for South players today as suggested by a few South supporters suggested pre game.

Bit harsh locky, I thought as per usual they had a couple of hundred there, as I said to Bayman who stood with me I said it always amazes me how South get more supporters to Prospect than Glenelg ever do.

Undermanned, poor skills under pressure, poor skills when not under pressure. The fact is that as far as talent goes we have about 10 good sanfl footballers, the rest are just not up to league standard. North were very good but it is difficult to say how good when considering the opposition. Alleway and White will prove a real handful for any team on any day. I thought Boyd was our best contributor by a mile.
Archard must have thought he has died and gone to heaven, none of our fellows wanted to go near him.!!!

Probably right Wedgie, but in the 1st half I was around in front of the stands and there was hardly a murmur from anyone when South kicked a goal, may have been a few around on the eastern wing and northern end, on saying that thought it wasn't a bad turn out actually as far as a crowd goes

I could hear a few South fans on the outer wing giving Archard a bit in the first half, they went a bit quieter after he had his 97th touch for the day in the 3rd quarter.
