[quote="Wedgie"]Interesting that Thornton has both teams up as equal favs ($1.90).

It would be hard to bet against North. WWT are limping through this finals series......

Write off the Eagles at your own peril JamesH. I seem to remember this time last season after we got cleaned up by CD everyone wrote us off not expecting us to even make the GF and we took the whole thing out. :D

Im an Eagles supporter so I hope Im wrong!!!!!!!!

I just feel have we too many injured bodies.... its been a tough season for WWT....
The Draw against Glenelg seemed to break our momentum

North played out of their skins against us in the last quarter and against Central for 3 quarters

Mate just get behind the boys then because I happen to believe we will win and I still think we have a very good chance of taking it out again.

So far North have won one final as underdog and lost one final as underdog.
So far Eagles have lost one final as fav and lost one final as fav.

Looking at those stats I thought there'd be more pressure on the Eagles?

I thought the eags had won a final??

Interesting that wundke dropped? Does this mean that robran will now accept perrie?

Whoops yes, one win as favs and one loss as favs, you know what I meant. ;)

Reckon Jars would have been rubbing his hands together when he saw no Passador, always kicks a bag against us,

Interesting Wundke being dropped considering that North already seemed short of options to change the mix of their talls (especially in defense). With one less there is more pressure on the blokes to do the job. Since turning down Perrie they have lost White and now dropped Wundke.

So much for Wundke being vital to North as I was being told a couple of weeks ago. Now Jars comments about Perrie have been exposed as a cover for something else.

Must agree Graham, the dropping of Wundke is a little surprising, IMHO leaves us one tall short, and with obviously some players in doubt as well. As for Perrie and stories best be left alone, the guy has issues and it was thought all around the table it was best he didn't play. I think all concerned in that issue can take a pat on the back

I have no idea about what his issues are but as a player i'll say this: If you want to win dont play perrie!

Big game this one. The Eagles are out to keep their premiership defence in tact and the Roosters trying to make their first GF in 16 years. Should be a crackerjack game. I can't wait. Bring on the action. C'mon you Eaaaaagggggllllleeeeesssss !!!!! :D :D :D

I'm with you Hondo, I think we might lose - not for want of trying etc but we look spent come the last 1/4 against Centrals and judging from the two games last week, the Eagles look fresher and fitter IMO. I just hope it ain't a blow out loss if we happen to lose.

The blow out can occur if we are handing it out though!

I for one, really hope Norf can get up today... they have always been my "second" club and I honestly don't think I can cope with another Central v Eagles Grand Final... phlease roosters - do it for your supporters and for the doggie fans too!

Eagles need to kick straight for goal, and play four good quarters of football, not just two or three. Then we will win today.
