Locky, we have won two premierships before fairly similar scenarios (byes in round 22 or 23). If anyone can handle this situation, we can. However, will we?
Cheers

You may well be right only going on a conversation I had with Roy earlier today where he said this year is exactly like last year and that was not a great preparation, not being a puppies supporter I cannot remember what they went through last year, thought Roy would have some idea though, perhaps he was wrong, who knows, who cares, time will tell I guess :D

could have sworn they moved the 2nd semi to Adelaide oval for the 1st time last year, and 04 and 05 were at footy park. :?

In Phil's defence it doesn't say anything about Adelaide Oval, it just mentions the game was at Adelaide and Football Park's in Adelaide isn't it?
Come on Sam, your reading skills are getting worse by the year!

So all games are classified as Adelaide, no one has a home ground advantage and the beer should be the same price everywhere. I think we should use the beer prices from Adelaide Oval, Main North Road, Prospect.

If your crap soccer team changes its name to Hindmarsh United I'll concede you have a point.
Until then...
(Plus when I go interestate if I tell people I'm from Happy Valley instead of saying I'm from Adelaide they'll think I live at a hippy camp in country NSW!)

Hang on Wedgie, aren't North Adelaide based in Prospect? Shouldn't they then be called the Prospect Roosters going on that logic?

Amazing what a couple of wins do for a club! Probably come back if the next 2 weeks go badly ...

Well I'm one North person who is still not anywhere near convinced on North's claims this year as a genuine contender - yet!

We need to win this week to prove ourselves. We have been very lucky over the last two weeks and premiership contenders don't get away with playing 2 quarters of football only 2 weeks on end. I don't think there was any North supporter who thought we would win against Sturt when we trailed by 50 points 5 minutes into the 3rd quarter and if it wasn't for some bad kicking by the Eagles in in the middle patches of last Sunday's match - we would have been too far behind in the given conditions to come back. Those emotional comeback wins often mask the real story of the matches but a win is a win but the last 2 weeks should be a wake up call as much as a confidence booster.

Having said all that I'm pleased we have shown some backbone to get back into the last two matches and ultimately win but I can't see it being third time lucky if we give Centrals any sort of lead. We have the list to suceed, we beat the Dogs last time out comfortably so the belief should be there. We need 4 quarters of sustained pressure football to match Centrals becuase that's what they will serve up to us.

Agree BPBRB...

North are STILL to prove themselvesin finals under Jarman, yet.

Must make GF for 2007 to have been successful but to ANJ's credit, he himself acknowledges that.

You have some very damaging players in that side & in MY VIEW the best list in the competition.

Am looking forward to watching a VERY interesting match, after OUR WIN of course.

I Think north are more worried about making the 2007 GF at the moment. but the 2008 GF will be on the radar this time next year
