Geez, weren't you happy with the singing mascots at 1/2 time, mini-league game, touch football oldies running around and the big announcement that the house lottery would be drawn at 3/4 time ? It's so hard to please you guys

The SANFL marketting department must have planned this for months !

I go to the footy for the footy, rather they bought a round of beers for me and my mates instead of paying for game day entertainment.

The football and occasion should be enough

Yeah, but when they dish up that shit and still have the hide to charge $8.40 for a beer, that's pure greed !!

Does anyone else think the Sturt mascot looks a lot like Graham Cornes?

Don't get me wrong, I went today to watch the footy as a neutral supporter. But it had me thinking, it was an expensive exercise for what it was. I'm suggesting that if the SANFL want more people there then maybe the $30 is scaring a few away

Messaging of Weslo, I couldn't believe the flares in the Members Stand.

But it was nice to see some old Norwood supporters there in their best 1970's pants.

Looked like it on the telecast. One Weekend Hero getting his final chance to lord it over people who otherwise outclass him in every aspect.

You'd think they'd fix all those faulty dots on the old scoreboard for the last ever game there ... piss poor SANFL

Weslo chatted to him but then he kept running around the back of the terraces. Norwood too good two years running.

That flag waver was hilarious. Couldn't stop laughing as he dashed around the ground with the giant flag. Harmless fun. Seriously Weslo, what harm was he doing???

Good Crowd - 36K+ :)

North just ran out of legs - Norwood were best team all year, deserved Premiers.

Did anyone else view the Sturt supporter (think he is in the Sturt CS) - winding up the Cocks?
I thought he was actually trying to get them going but they 'hooked into him'.

The ground was in outstanding condition, I thought.

Well Done Norwood - enjoy another Flag on the Parade

Oh really? Do tell.
Congratulations Norwood on your deserved premiership. I was hoping North would get up, bit perhaps it's better that they remain equal third most successful club rather than outright third.

Yep unfortunately north talked the talk.................... And ended up being just as embarrasing

Where did they talk the talk, maybe supporters but nothing from the Club

Sorry yes I mean the supporters not officially from the club

If u had landed on planet earth and found SAFooty u would have thought north were playing in their 12th straight GF

Congrats to Norwood I hate use but u were the best team all year

Going to enjoy a beer with the dumont family tonight

A d what planet were you on when you posted this whufc
I don't recall anyone saying we were a shoe in. I did read how many non North supporters were glad it was a Rooster v Norwood grand final and not a West v Norwood final.

Great day and great way to send off Footy Park with the only decent atmosphere/crowd since the 1990s.
My boys just didn't have enough fuel in the tank to take it out but gave it a crack for most of the game.
Well done Norwood, best team all year and best team today, well deserved.
Norwood supporters were great, North supporters were great and brought back memories of the true atmosphere Footy Park could have which I haven't seen there for at least 15 years. It really was a step back in time today with such an enthusiastic loud crowd, my son brought his Port Power best friend and he said he'd never heard or felt anything like today.
Congratulations Norwood, too good and well deserved!
