I have not thought about it much until this week. This season is a farce. Each team has a bye which I thought would disappear. 18 games! why not just back to the old days where we played a staggered minor round, 22 games. There's no value for the season ticket. Why does the SANF allow games at Alberton make them equal to the Crows. Let the local clubs have a second home game. The admin of the SANFL is destroying its own comp.

Well we have said it over and over again. But what can you expect when the comp is controlled by the ones we have in control
Port will always get what THEY want and bugger the rest. The hierarchy are just fools

well, some people have been saying this would be the outcome of the reserves sides for around the past two and a half years. but back at the start, they were told they were just scared of change......

however, with more and more people finally starting to see the writing on the wall, maybe the idea of getting rid of the afl reserves sides isnt such a silly idea. make sure you all tell your clubs your thoughts on what they have done to the competition.....

Effectively saying there is a group of club directors who have met to discuss concerns. Whatever they feel the best course of action is will need to be ratified by the Commission. Interesting that Rooch discounts the Crows placing a team in the Amateur League due to lack of infrastructure. Would have been nice if some decision makers and the media had the common sense to realise that when they voted, rather than consider it as a genuine option up the Crows sleeve.

Spoke to someone in the know only a few minutes ago and there has been a couple of informal meetings with the aim to get rid of the cancers within 2 years, preferably before next year. If this doesn't happen other means of making them less competitive will be looked at

Make it South, Central, and ninety percent of their own support bases.

And the discussion has started that they, the commission, need to go. They came in for the AFL liscence which evolved to liscences, they have gone so why still have them. Its not like they do it for free.

8 team comp, 21 rounds final four. Any takers?

Thought this thread had gone to sleep.
Great to have some fresh discussion.
At first I was so so on them joining the comp but the SANFL have tweeked the season too much just to please them.
Especially the 5 byes.
Too costly to keep them for me.
