Players again not liking a coach at the Bay.

Maybe they should have one of their own being a playing coach ???

Seems any outsiders coming in to coach end up not liked.

Rumours were rife late in the year all was not good. Was going to be a massive player revolt if they did not get rid of him. They basically had no choice but to sack him.

Sounds like Us a couple of years ago.

STURT SIGNING: The Club is pleased to announce the signing of 22-year-old player Connor McFadyen.
Drafted by the Brisbane Lions in the 2018 NAB AFL Draft from the Lions Academy, the tall (190cm) athletic midfielder and forward is a strong ball-winner capable of playing multiple positions.
McFadyen was named an All-Australian for the Allies in the Under 18 National Championships.
Club President Jason Kilic said “McFayden was the player I wanted at the Club. He has all the attributes we look for in players and will fit in perfectly. I couldn’t be happier.”
We cannot wait to see him debut for the Double Blues in 2023.

The Norwood Football Club is thrilled to announce the recruitment of Matt Ling.

Matt was drafted to the Sydney Swans, from Geelong Falcons, with pick 14 in the 2017 draft. He spent 4 years in Sydney and played 4 AFL games.

He returned to his hometown of Geelong at the end of 2021, and played for Geelong VFL, where he was Runner Up in the Best and Fairest.

Matt has great versatility in his positional play, with his kicking and interception skills being key features of his play.

A very impressive young man, who is genuinely excited to wear the red and blue in 2023.

We welcome Matt and look forward to what he will bring to The Norwood Football Club.

Actually from 2 opposition clubs.

Luke Bogle from South is one, 3 weeks ago I would have said Partington and Hosie the other two.

I wouldn't consider Partington and Hosie as "promising" players.

Staying at the Bay anyway.
