No need for the insults, to the people in the outer making the real noise it was definately before the mark but after talking to the North supporters on the members side it was definately after the mark.
No need to be rude, sound does take a while to travel slower than light.

As bad as North have choked in recent years we've never choked to the degree of 50 points in one half, full marks for Sturt leading the way there.

Perhaps Sturt fans would be better off asking where their noise was when the North coach dragged the players over to where the real fans are at a game.
Only difference between the sides tonight was the supporters.
All of Rick Mc's hard work was undone by passion and supporter noise tonight, that must hurt.

Mate, if you were in our boat right now I'm sure you'd be gutted too. A team shouldn't lose when they are more points in front than there are minutes to play (before the final quarter as started). To be sure, I don't blame anyone except for the players and coaches. I don't think me or my mates went missing, you were simply more organised, more piseed, or both That said, I turned up tonight expecting to go down by 60+. That in mind, Its a difficult one to take. Esp. after that first half...how to feel? Happy that we were competitive? Or pissed because we gave away such a head start. I trust you noticed the difference in Sturt when Feast went off the ground. Great game of footy regardless.

FWIW the Feast injury (?) also coincided with a coaching master-stroke: Hart and Coulter(?) going into the midfield. that's why the turnaround was amplified..

All this is going to do is make Jars sacking more poetic when they go out in straight sets. He doesn't have the mental aptitude to keep things quiet and under the radar. He will with out a word of doubt try a pull some half arsed Kevin Sheedy type stunt by doing something like watching 5 or 6 minutes of an AFL as he's heading down for a half time talk like he did against Glenelg or watching the game from his car. The people I feel empathy for are the loyal supporters but also the players, his ridiculousness overshadows their ample football ability

What a fantastic game of footy. What a fantastic advert for the SANFL.

Thought Sturt were good value for their 1st half dominace and did miss Feast when he went off, but this game is down to Jarman.

We were getting smashed in the middle and that just made it easy for Sturt up front. Moving Alleres back, McIntyre up and taking Coulter off Chambers made the difference.
Hart was sensational today, and just got better and better. Instead of running out of steam he got stronger.

Jarman taking the 3/4 team talk to the Rooster fans, may have been a gimmick or it may have been genuine, but what it undoubtedly was, was inspirational. Fired up the fans and fired up the players.

I read the DB forum and most Sturt fans had written their side off before a ball was kicked, and to their credit Sturt were fantastic in the 1st half. Hungrier with a greater desire to win the ball, put in some great tackles and had North down and out. McGowan set his stall out and out coached Jarman.

I just think North had more resources, greater experience and, in Jarman, a coach that made some big decisions, some clever decisions, and took the initiative back from Sturt. Maybe McGowan just ran out of options and the lack of experience in the Sturt team just seamed to lead to panic when North closed the gap. I noticed a few unforced errors creeping into Sturts play in the final quarter, and North, lead by Hart just kept coming.

Notwithstanding, it was a fantastic come back by North, and surely no-one can deny that. To be 50 points down, 10 minutes into the 3rd quarter and get up to win is an amazing achievement, that Sturt should never have allowed to happen.

As a North fan, I am glad to be avioding the Bays in the next round and feel we can beat WWT next week. I wouldn't be so confident against the Bays as they seem to have the wood on us this year.

Great stuff North, unlucky Sturt, what a great game of Footy.

I have to say that despite the great comeback and win, North's first half was as bad and unaccountable as was Sturt's deserved lead. Considering how many good players Sturt had out they were probably unlucky in the end to lose after coughing up such a big lead. It might be cold comfort but Sturt showed that they are a very good side.

Very poor crowd given what was on the line and clearly the Sturt bandwagon broke down pre-game as there was a poor turn out by the blues fans.

North will need to play about 50 percent better if they hope to get near the Eagles next week but I guess they take some confidence out from the way they stormed home.

Can Sturt re-group nxt week for the Bays - surely they will get 3 or 4 good players back?

I am shattered !!!

I thought our good kicking gave us the lead in the first place and Norths bad kicking helped as well - the events after we got up to a fifty point lead are gut wrenching !!!

I rekon when it got down to a 32 point lead it was very obvious that we were running on empty and it we were only marking time so to speak - I was watching everything we had done excellently all year just unravel in front of me !!!

Last night was really the first time all year that I had high expectations of what we may be able to achieve - I am still in shock as I was whilst our lead last night was getting chipped away and will be seaking some advice from James Boags this afternoon.
