Well it's pretty apparent that we can rule out Gary Cameron. In all fairness though, mission impossible coaching this mob atm.

Your observation is one that the club has failed so far to deal with. I can only assume that the reason the club has not dissmissed any of the players that put the knives into the back of the coach is that they are waiting for the report from Kevin Morris before proceeding.

14 players refused to be re-signed in order to force the club to sack Pyman. Considering the results of the club without the coach I think that those 14 players need to be stood down.

If South make the mistake of giving those players further chances, the result will be more years of playing non competitive football and continuing to be the perpetual also rans of the SANFL competition.

South need to wake up and stop running out on the field with the best team that money can buy of dropped players from the AFL and the best of the VFL. We need to get to a position where we have players that really do play for the jumper, not mercenaries who act in the manner that a number of our current playing group are.

I know that Kevin Morris's report is due soon, yet I hope he was there today to include todays efforts in his report. The club needs to make some hard decisions in the next few weeks, I hope that this time around the club gets the balls to actually go and make some harder choices and I hope that Morris influences them to go that way.

Thanks for the reply Sojouner I was not trolling just saying what I saw.
And your club may be starting to go down the path of youth with young Dan Trevena playing the two's today.

Agreed sojouner.
The players effectively sacked Pyman, they have until now got away unscathed. Performances since the coachs' departure prove that he was not the sole problem. The Morris report, I'm led to believe ,is currently in the hands of the board and will be published on the club website next week. It should be fascinating reading.
The findings and recommendations of the report coinciding with appointment of the new coach will make for interesting times at the safc.

Talk around East Fremantle Oval last Saturday was that Sharks coach David Dunbar was not going to be re-appointed and that he was headed to the Panthers for 2008.

Given the fact that his position was supposedly in jeopardy if they didn't make the Four, it was surprising that he wasn't linked to any jobs sooner as it usually does with rumour mongering.

I hadn't heard that one before. Anyone heard something similar?

Unlikely - successful stockbroker, young family. Was a coach at the Power - not sure if he still is or not.

Stopped his role at Port 2 or 3 years ago. Wouldn't think he'd be to the job as a head coach even at SANFL level.

Looks like my mail was pretty close to the mark.

Small flames starting to emerge from the smoke with this one Ian!!

Expect an announcement next week confirming this one. Jack will be the senior coach for 2-3 years but also mentoring a former player who will take the reigns similar to the Ginever strategy. There will be a massive shakeup of the club in all departments according to my source. The ride will be an interesting one......
Hi, My name is Ron 'Bluey' Dunn. Did you know I played in the 61 & 62 Tasman Premiership sides....
