Your observation is one that the club has failed so far to deal with. I can only assume that the reason the club has not dissmissed any of the players that put the knives into the back of the coach is that they are waiting for the report from Kevin Morris before proceeding.
14 players refused to be re-signed in order to force the club to sack Pyman. Considering the results of the club without the coach I think that those 14 players need to be stood down.
If South make the mistake of giving those players further chances, the result will be more years of playing non competitive football and continuing to be the perpetual also rans of the SANFL competition.
South need to wake up and stop running out on the field with the best team that money can buy of dropped players from the AFL and the best of the VFL. We need to get to a position where we have players that really do play for the jumper, not mercenaries who act in the manner that a number of our current playing group are.
I know that Kevin Morris's report is due soon, yet I hope he was there today to include todays efforts in his report. The club needs to make some hard decisions in the next few weeks, I hope that this time around the club gets the balls to actually go and make some harder choices and I hope that Morris influences them to go that way.
