Which partner was that?

Or does he get a dollar for each one?

It's time South showed some testicles and did something extream. This has easily been the most disappointing season for us I can remember. I've barracked for south all my life. I lived in Adelaide for about 6 years and went to most South games, home or away. I grew up in Port Lincoln (a Port Adelaide zone) and returned home about 4 years ago. I am 28 years old and have NEVER see South play in a GF. In 1979 I was 5 months old! Come on enough is enough. 30 goal drubbings at Elizabeth, having beer thown at me at Alberton by 60 year old grandma's with 2 teeth in their head. :( Then comes the bliss of last season. :D Now they are dishing up this type of crap again. :? Where's the spirit gone that we showed last season? :?
Sack Pyman now. He doesn't have the respect of the playing group and never will. Buy a coach in the off season who COMMANDS respect. Darren Jarman springs to mind as does Josh Francou. Mark Bickley perhaps as an ex club champion with the nouse to do the job right. Then have him clean out the dead wood. If that dead wood amounts to 5, 10 or 15 players so be it. One finals series evey decade should no longer be enough to satisfy South Adelaide people. :(
Choco Williams Lives!!! We have seen the REVOLUTION come and go. You have "LIVED THE CREED". All you Power people are now gonna have to "KEEP THE FAITH". Slogan for 2010-11 PAFC.....or is it PAPFC.......I never get it right.

haloman I agree with most of your comments. Sometimes a club needs a good clean out. Respected leaders and strong management is what is required. Need to get some old south blokes to rally together. Luke Darcy would make a great player/coach if he is interested. Mark Bickley what are your doing. Put some time back into the club that brought you up. What happened to the darwin deal. I think south should start recruiting a few players from there. Do something radical and try your luck. can't do any worse than they have for the last 40 years. You can't always throw money at problems although some helps foresure. Be interesting what happens. Our sound position off the field is a good sign.

Well said haloman. I too am a long time Southee and it is obvious to all that the wheels have fallen off big time. Unfortunately Pyman has alienated far too many people at the club and he must be moved on. It is easy to say that we cannot cave in to the players but we cant accept the PATHETIC performances of the last month and the coach must go. I was always concerned when we appointed him as he had no experience as a coach in his own right only ever having been an assistant.
He is the only full time coach in the SANFL yet we are now paying Kevin Morris to do a review. Surely it is obvious. Pyman must go and someone new must come in. Bicley would be great if available but surely the suggestion of Darren Jarman was a joke.

Heh Southee I'm with you mate.
I go to training once a week just about every week and the coach walks pass me every week without word, I have tried to talk to him ( I have been told he's like this with the players) but I'm just one of the suckers/plebs who pays to come to the games. I'm afraid it's a bit of a boys club down their at the moment amongst the board and the fulltime staff involved with the playing group. Heh who wants to lose your job when you're on the money that there reported to be on.
I'm not convinced about the review, it may be cynical, but I see it as an attempt by the board to be seen to be doing something. The report will only be a recomendation. I hope we as members are entitled to view the report.
I think though that there is also a split in the supporters as to whose right or wrong. Playing group vresus coach.
We had after match presentations under the verandah last night while the bingo went ahead upstairs. That shows you how highly the members are valued.
I've been told by one Pyman supporter ( another fan?) that this club doesn't need supporters like me and I should take my money elsewhere. Go figure!

I think our "Jump the Shark" moment was when we had the hostile coup attempt on the board.
From then the club has gone to hell in a hand-basket. And the apparent rift between Coach and players wasn't there before then.
Board members are supposed to run the club, not provide shoulders for sooky-la-la players to cry on.

I wonder if the Racquet Club at St. Marys has any vacancies.

I believe Jaques is a South Junior that was playing Reserves and then was in and out of the Reserves and has now finally found his feet and getting a League game.

I think Warren proved as a South forward if you get the ball you kick goals by kicking 11 in the Reserves out of 16 or 17 in a one goal win over Port.

Pymann has been quick to make the Forwards the whipping boys and drop them but from the few South games I have seen on TV or the one live one against my SANFL the midfield need to deliver it for the forwards to kick it through the big white sticks.

Thought I'd drag this one up given that he appears to have signed with North.
Very prophetic comment from LBT.
