Did the Woodville half or the Torrens half run over your mob in the prelim? Interesting discussion point.

Going on history you'd have to say the Woodville half gave you the start and Torrens finished it all off.

Being an old torrens fan id say it would be the other way round
But in the end it doesn't really matter because we won and you reds choked second year in a row against us .

It would be 7 different jumpers incl the 3 heritage jumpers

Bzzzzzzzzt, Wrong, its pretty sad when I have a better knowledge of Eagles guernseys than their own supporters!!

1. Original design in 1991 with green on top blue on bottom with thin eagle and line in yellow half way down (see Collville in header)
2. Footscray lookalike
3. Blue design with smudgy eagle
4. Yellow design with smudgy eagle
5. White one off guernsey worn in Rd 17 2005
6. New predominately blue guernsey
7. New predomintely yellow guernsey

No heritage guersney mentioned.

I believe our 2b was a gols bar on the back after CD complained

wow... 8 jumpers since 1991

My earliest memories of SANFL are from the late seventies.

Since this time five clubs have had the same guernsey design (i.e. excluding one-offs): South, Glenelg, Port, Sturt, and West. Not overly sure about the Bloods, I have vague memories of the vertical stripes, but I'm not sure how authentic those memories are. Sturt did vary its guernsey a little in the early-mid nineties but the basic design was the same.

One club has introduced an alternative guernsey: Norwood.

One club completely changed its guernsey: Central.

One club changed its guernsey, changed it back, and recently added an alternative: North.

Since 1991 - a bit over half of my memory span - the Eagles have had six major guernseys (four + two alternatives). Chuck in three more guernseys - and one change of logo (Peckers to Warriors) from the component clubs.

I'm not sure what the moral of this story is....

You're memory of the West vertical stripes is not hazy Psuedo, it is correct...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Agreed, would like to see the sponsors emblem just like it was in the 80s when they were usually just a sew on patch at the top of the guernsey.
Ive got 3 North guernseys without any sponsor on them and they look the best.
I could be wrong but Jamie at the First Bounce might be able to get SANFL guernseys made up without sponsors on them.

Is that just current guernseys Wedgie, or is it possible to get older retro ones. Would love to get hold of a 72 style guernsey?

Who's "we" Mickyj. Some hybrid team made up of two clubs so successful in their history, that they decided to merge in order to take over the world? It is clear from your post that your "we" is not WWT at all but just WT and "in the end" it clearly does matter or you wouldn't have reacted to wide_receivers comment in the first place.

So you won a game against the Roosters. Take a look at the premiership stats mate and whilst you're at it take at look at the wooden spoon stats. Think you will find the Roosters win hands down in one category and record the least in another.

I'll leave it to you to guess which is which
