I never expected anything less though.

Bring back the proper Magpies, then it will stop.

Renouf back for Port is a big in. I dont rate him at AFL level but he is handy at SANFL level. That will make a difference. I feel Port will get up by 3 or 4 goals.

South are a good SANFL side, similar standard to Eagles and Sturt (results between these 3 have been close this year). Eagles got done by 10 goals by Port, Sturt would have been done by 10+ goals if Port had a bench. South will have to play out of their skin to get within 5 goals. Clearances will be very interesting, both sides rely on them to get their games going.

Exactly, treat Port and the whole concept with the respect it deserves.

It will be much better for their development. Get your officials and board involved too , they can learn lots . Good investment for your club. You will get a new stadium, have others pay the way , be competent in backstabbing and master the art of constant whinging .

Watching this game on 7mate shows the gap between AFL and SANFL standard/fitness. As I'm watching its 25:48 into the last and Port have a 10 goal lead over the Panthers. They have run away from them in the last quarter and a half. They have had 31 scoring shots to 11........

Port reserves fans can gloat all they like but the fact is that without their team being stacked with AFL listed players they'd still be where the Magpies have been for the past 10 or so years.....i.e. nowhere.

I wonder how long before Keith Thomas has to come out in the media again to defend the Power reserves dominating the SANFL?

I agree 100% there is not a current team that will get anywhere near the Power Reserves.

So far in 2014 the Power reserves have only lost their opening game of the season to Norwood. They have won every other game, and that includes trial games. Other than being caught out in round 1, no one has been able to get close to them.

Pretty much what most thought would happen with one or both of the AFL reserves sides in the SANFL. The only reason the Crows aren't doing it is because outside their top 5 or 6 players in the AFL side, their list is pretty mediocre compared to Ports.

Great win port power professionals. Keep going, smash everyone. The custodians of our league hang your head in shame. Port way to good in the second half obviously. What a fantastic year.

Clubs that voted yes can suck me sideways. 15 players today good enough to be drafted, against a side that has none. First look at port and I thought we did well for a while.
