You don't really mean that.

You don't really mean that.

I'd be less likely to get rugby and league mixed up than soccer and woman's gymnastics.

I'll wait and see.

I now understand why it's done in Melbourne - so that Hutchy can hop from one set to the other. Makes sense.

I wouldn't watch it every week. However, if it's on and I've got nothin' doin', like yesterday, I'll sit and watch.

Though next week there going to have to talk about two AFL games rather than the one showdown so I would think less chance of any real SANFL, SANFL talk other than a quick look at the scores.

It appears I've upset and offended you by using the phrase rugby as one catch-all phrase. I duly apologise and the distinction is noted.

You mistake my humour for being upset and offended but I accept your apology, thank you.

Soccer isn't a sport, it's a recreational pursuit....

Akin to orienteering, frisbie throwing, and nerf ball.

That's exactly what I was thinking yesterday!
What is a little annoying I guess is if you watch any of the other sports/AFL shows on Sunday mornings, they just regurgitate the same things, so essentially just seeing the same footage and hearing the same feedback..

Less focus on AFL, more on SANFL and SAAFL and might make it more interesting..

Oh and cut Rucci's section FFS!

I agree with this, its the predictability of the whole thing that makes listening and watching tedious. Even the so called non scripted stuff is so obvious.

Hi all,

Great to see Footy SA debut on 9 with OUR state actually gaining it's own dedicated program.

Treaders was great and Wellman gave us a bit of a blast from the past.

The show went well considering it was the first show and it was great to see Amateurs and Hills getting a slot.

I'm sure that as the show settles into it's own identity that SANFL will gain a great platform and good coverage.

It is full state coverage also which is great for country viewers who generally get forgotten.

Ratings were amazing with a bigger audience than The Sunday Footy Show in SA - attracting 38.1% of the statewide audience.

The Michael Aish interview was also a highlight and exclusive to Footy SA.

Lets hope footy supporters in SA get behind it now.

Cheers

Regardless of my employment I am stating that SA now has OUR OWN show.

It would be great if footy fans embrace this so we can get more local content.

Presenters are personal preference IMO.

My understanding is that there will be rotating hosts and guests on a regular basis so that everyone is catered to.

WOW - Rucci b4 Treadrea!

First week was always a hard one with no SANFL or Local games.

I noticed they gave Amateurs and Hills draw for this weekend though.

Should be interesting this Sunday to see how it goes.

this week will be the acid test

I hope they don't focus too much on the AFL sides, although I fear the worst. we really don't need to know about the AFL sides as they get plenty of media on radio and the advertiser

I also hope that they show the ladders for the reserves and other grades also.

It seems to take a few shows to get the format right particularly being something brand new.

Taking this into account I would recommend voicing this straight to Footy SA via their social media:

Twitter: www.twitter.com/Footy_SA

Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Footy-SA/493374414101808

By doing this you can have input into what viewers want and like.

It's amazing how much they watch their facebook and twitter for feedback.
