INT- Bowen Cubillo Myles Jaensch Vassal

IN: Sharples, Johncock, Vassal, Plant

OUT: Coad(susp) Smith

Suprised that Smith was dropped, I thought he has shown some toughness around the ball and is much imporved on recent seasons. Charlie Sharples in is a good move I think with a slippery deck at Adelaide Oval, his crumbing prowess will hopefully be a highlight.

Vassal is the former Norwood lad isn't he ? I think Plant would come in for Coad and Johncock is a handy in for the Double Blues. Still think they much just get up in a close one.

It will be a great game. Hopefully the weather is fine and we can see a huge crowd. I am thinking of heading down as a neutral to have a look aswell.

IM going to have to pick the bays. Only due to Dutchys horse getting up midweek.

Yep BP, Vassal from Norwood, 1st league game for Sturt.

Hopefully Sharps can get up the ground a little as well and help hold the ball in our forward 50. All the boys will have to concentrate on denfensive actions to combat Coad and Macca not being there.
Expecting Johncock to have a big night as the wide flanks of Adel Oval will give himn space to move around. He has been backing himself in the last few games he's played once he's within range, something he wasn't doing earlier in the year.
Big game for all concerned, Blues by 5 pts. PLEASE!

The oval has been "reshaped" so there will be no wide pockets.

It's not being played in your mind Cutter, so we might get a few more than that.

Haha hehe I've got a very big head Theri. I can't make it, sothat's one less. What's your tip then? Shall we have a bet?

Hmmm, a wet Friday night and a battle for top spot with no AFL. I think it is deserving of about 8,500.
What's your tip?
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
