Will be a bonus having Justin Westhoff in the side for the Dogs but if the weather is wet, may not mean much anyway...

Havelberg's hamstring must still be a concern as I was speaking to him at Woodville last week and he was keen to play in the Eagles game...

I think Giles may end up playing reservres with L.Westhoff, with Jenner, Lawry and J.Westhoff to be the interchange bench...

Not sure about that. Will take a lot to stop him in any conditions..

Hmmm...now I think Centrals by 31-40

Can't find a Sturt team anywhere on line so from the 5RPH show tonight it, I think this was how they lined up based on memory:

FF: M.Jaensch B.Chambers M.Coad
HF: N.Smith J.Johncock T.Gum
CL: J.McDonald J.Sheedy J.Bode
HB: B.Martin L.Button S.McGlone
FB: M.Bratton P.Fittock N.Wark

1R: A.Kurtze C.Evans L.Crane

INT: (from) J.Bowen J.Cubillo R.Herring B.Nelson J.Myles

I think that's what I heard, but I'm sure a Sturt fan can confirm this.

i'd love to see McLeay back but looks like its another week for him...nelson would surely play as we could do with his toughness and he has had 3 weeks back.

the dogs side looks real good....i tipped the blues and i'll stick with that as im all heart ;)

Crowd of 10 000 hopefully, 9 500 of which will hopefully be Doggies supporters!
Gotta love the temp fencing, more can be added to increase the capacity!!!
Dogs by 10 points with Chambers kicking 6!

Id like to see 10000 people fit in Unley Oval. Just make sure the Guiness World Records people are there to record the most people trapped into a confined space! :D But it does beg the question, if a big crowd does show up, at what point would they shut the gates? And how do they allow for season ticket holders if this was the case? (Just hypothetical, because i dont believe it will be a sell out but it would be interesting to know if the SANFL has plans in place.)

As for the game, after watching the dogs last weekend against the Eagles, i cant see them coming close to Sturt. If we turn the ball over as easily as we did last week, Sturt will slaughter us with their more skilled midfield and Chambers up front. I can picture him kicking 10 on us actually. We need Havelberg and Thomas back pronto! Sturt by 50+ sadly - I hope im wrong!

Seriously though, the above post takes no account of Sturt's equally abysmal performance against a heartless Norwood last week. Don't let the result fool you, by all accounts we were pretty bad.
At least Centrals got exposed against the Eagles, so something surely would have been done about it.
So the way I see it Sturt are coming in off the back of a soft thumping while the Dogs were punished for being soft.
It should be interesting anyway. The Dogs have shown time and again what a class act they are. Sturt will need to be at the top of their game to win this one.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

With the Eagles getting pumped by Norwood today to the extent of 75 points, will be interested to see how Centrals come out on Monday and play against a Double Blues line up winning games but not in the greatest if form.

With what the Eagles dished up today, was their win last week against Central just a reflection of how bad the reigning Premiers played. Bring on Monday and a top of the table clash, can't wait to see this one, shoudl be great.

Dogs by 3 points in an exciting, thrilling game.

You'll be pleased to know that Juston Westhoff played for the Power last night and will not be fronting for the Dogs tomorrow purch...

Does that change your tip now mate ;)

P.S - Out of curiosity, who dropped out of the Power side for Westhoff to play, his brother Matthew lined up for the Power as well didn't he ?

Goodwin got injured today for the Crows, will they maybe hold off Reilly playing with the Crows?
