SANFL Cashing up Sturt and the Port Magpies

I agree, they should change the record books and award the premiership to the team they played in that Grand Final ... Whoever that may be?

The history of that flag either goes with the AFL team which is what you are suggesting or it stays with the new Port Magpies. Not both which is the con they are currently carrrying on with.

Of course they can both claim the 1980 Flag because in 1980 they were a single club. It is the SANFL (controlling body) that decree the Magpies share the history of the PAFC from 1870 until 1996. From 1997 onwards the PAFC and PAMFC are now 2 branches of the same tree. Y
