Stampy you come across as a really petty wanker, if that's all you got out of a great win by your blokes then I pity anyone who has to be around you in your small insignificant life. Did every Bay player offer to shake hands, if not, are they bad sports?
YOU ARE A TOOL!
You post this nonsense and then cry hard done by when people challenge you on it and come out with cries of persecution by the Mods. Crawl back into your cave.
Appologies to all.

I didn't see it, but if Sammy offered his hand and Chambo didn't shake then that's Chambo's prerogative.

If it was after game and the same thing happened then once again it's Chambo's perogative, but after game
poor form IMO.

All up, I couldn't give a rats tossbag (Thanks Blighty) as what Sturt players do...

This thread is now about what a socially inept toss pot Sam Rudolph is for not understanding that handshakes are for after the game ;)
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Heh Heh,

Sammy has the attitude to sport that would be appreciated by Jack Halbert and Keith Chessel

Like those two he can play too.... :D

mighty_tiger_79 wrote:sammy would have made a good full forward for sturt yesterday

numerous times as the ball went inside sturts forward 50 sammy was leading to the ball like a full forward with chambo trailing behind.

This happened because all game Sturt's execution of simple skills was nothing short of disgraceful and it has been like that for the last month..... talented players like mglone, sheedy, crane all burning the footy under no pressure. Im a Sturt man and i watched my team get belted by a team that was well drilled, hungrier and tougher. They smashed at the stoppages and did everything right. But Sturt and Chambers should be the least of your worries. They have to play the Dogs on the day which in the last 10 years has been theirs.

I was in the Bradman stand and there was a box of Moron Bay supporters giving it Chambo and getting very personal..... hang on who has kicked over 200 goals in the last 2 seasons. Sure he wasnt playing well etc but respect is earnt and he definately has earnt it. As for the 2x 25m penalties yep the first one was there no doubt about that but the second one was for bumping a glenelg player who had run 20 metres to make contact with chambers who chambers reacted as he turned around to someone was charging at him..... majority of players would have done the same and that was poor umpiring.

I pose this question and in no way would it have changed the results, but what was your perspective of the standard of umpiring in the game???? IMO opinion very inconsistant and does anyone have the official free kick count????

Stampy you have to be the most self righteous knob I've ever come across. I've got some great mates who are Bays supporters, it's a pity you with your tripe have to express such negativity and bollox after your team has had a great win to make the Grand Final. I hope Centrals belt the living 5hit out of the Bays now. Unitl your rediculous post I was on the side of my Glenelg mates. You have confirmed your status as TOOL OF THE YEAR!

I can't wait to hear you tonight Stampy. You go for it, don't let anyone stop you tackling the big issues ! If you're on, it should complete the Glenelg football radio show (we'd just need Rowey)

P.S In the other thread providing ongoing scores someone wrote "carn the Tiges", instead of "Tigers" I think this serious issue should be raised also.
Please also don't misquote the great Billy Brownless it should be "sooky, sooky, la, la", you should have known this.

Good work there Stampy, joining the Glenelg bandwagon is a smart move, mate you are a smart man then. why do you have to shake hands at the start of the game anyway, at least he shook the hands after the game which is fine.

This won't surprise you, I thought the umpiring was very consistant yesterday players in front positin got rewarded with a free kick if it was there and if players had prior opportunity and where tackled (allbeit briefly e.g Panozzo in teh2nd qtr) they got pinged.

When Sturt got first to the footy late in teh 2nd qtr they got free kicks and in the third qtr when they had the footy i.e were first they got the run of the umpiring. Fair enough they were first to the footy.

I wont say they were perfect I mean in the third qtr after Sturt got their two goals we brought the ball into our fifty to a leading Kirkby he was being held as he led (you could see his jumper stretch most obvious free of the day I thought and play on was the call...)

So all in all like last week when Centrals got the run of the umpiring (justifiably) it was the team first to the footy that got rewarded.

Good umpiring IMO particularly from Williams.

A few years ago in the SANFL players did shake hands before matches as well as after, except for the few ferals who were always around.
Then of course it was sport, not tribal warfare - except when Port Adelaide were involved perhaps.

Jeez if i had the power to delete this thread, i'd do it right now.

FFS, you dont NEED to shake hands before a game.
Sure Sammy destroyed Chambo (again) but really it was the pressure from the midfield that truly snuffed out the delivery.

How about some positive posting Stampy.

Yes i agree Glenelg were first to the ball and got rewarded for that but there were numerous occasions were sturt was held up on the mark and high contact no paid. which up the other end was.... i think it was just different umpires and different interpretations.

One last thing before i do some work  I as i said was in the Bradman stand and was watching the sturt cheer squad below me and about 10 mins into the last qtr roughly 10 big blokes in glenelg gear formed right next to the cheer squad. They were yelling profanities and personal abuse at the cheer squad regarding mothers, daughters and the like. very poor form by that mob and well done to the cheer squad for just packing up there flags.
