Good point, wouldn't want Geelong falling into another one of those 20 goal winning slumps in September again.

I dont think they over-achieved at all last year ... The way they are playing now is not indicative of the talent they have on their list, there is a clear problem down at Prospect.

I don't know mate, and I perhaps worded it incorrectly ... Should have said "it's clear there is a problem" IMHO.

Speaking with North fans there's been plenty of stories of issues at board level, in the coaching box and player disunity (most likely as a result of those other issues mentioned).

Whether it's one thing in particular or a combination (could possibly also throw in the losses of Howard and Hart), I don't know mate, we'd have to ask Rooster fans for their thoughts.

Talking to some North supporters yesterday.....you can do that when you are 12 goals up..... they seemed to think Jars was going at the end of the year anyway....no matter what ! Was always planned that way.
Just repeating what I heard.

I don't think he'll be sacked before the end of the year, North have only done that once in their entire history I think, and that was because if Hart had stayed on any longer there wouldn't have been any players left by the end of the season for the new coach to start with.
Player's who Im aware of this year aren't in the same boat and are prepared to stick around and put up with Jars till the end of the season.

Jarhead & Full as a boot , should both be demoted down to West Lakes irrespective of who wins on Saturday , as both have lost their playing groups ! The Eagles will then take back Hamilton who still has 1 year left on his last bloody contract , isnt that right Mr. Les Stevens !

There has been a lot of talk about the vultures circleing around Neil Craig at the Crows, yet Craig being sacked is an unlikely result to occur, still Shlt always flows downwards and Hamilton could well be the recipient of that if things dont work out so great for the Crows this year....... :?

Where did that flow from? Are you suggesting Hamilton could be looking to coach North if he is not Assisting at the Crows for some reason next year?

FWIW I think one way or another that North will probably have a new league coach next year. Might even be a Norwood connection there again, who knows?

If Jars walks, then so be it. If they sack him its a joke. Hes the one that got them out of trouble and deserves some perseverance.
