Just quoting you zip zap due to the jumper .
My 19 yo who never saw either team play pre merger remarked on the clash jumper and the warrior jumper appearing similar.

IIRC the new clash jumper was meant to honour that particular Woodville strip

Hondo - the home and clash jumper has the green yoke along with the eagle on the chest to put the best of the 2 foundation clubs together on both jumpers.

West Torrens prior to 91
Eagles Post 91.

The club are to be commended with the heritage days & guernseys.

If anyone is wondering why some of the jumpers on eBay have a high starting price check out the details
For example #15 will be signed by Zack Hier who wore it yesterday plus Malcolm Blight who wore that number Warrior Jumper in the 1980s. There are a few specials like this.

Prices start from $60 for most up to $250
Some already with 9 bids on them
8 days to go for this auction

i say do it every year, keep the tradition of both clubs alive, even wear old WWT eagles jumpers, from the 90's, still think the best jumper we have had was the 06 premiership jumper, it was unique, should have kept it

From Spelly's post above you can see we have covered the 2 foundation clubs jumpers so that has now finished.

Honouring the WWTFC history with say our first jumper, the premiership jumpers etc. will be considered in the future.

Not sure 2009 Heritage round at this point in time.

Well done to the WWTFC on doing the heritage jumpers for the last few years. It's been great to recognise both the clubs and I'm sure many people appreciate it. Hopefully they do something similar again in the future, but think it's smart to give it a break for a while - loses its meaning when done all the time.

That was the 1991-92 guernsey in Round 3 2005. I'd love to see the 1993-97 one again.

Spot on and agreed, I think the Eagles have done a fantastic job in recent years as far as recognising their past and looking to their future.
Even though they're having an off year Im sure it wont continue as the Eagles never cease to amaze me with their professionalism.

Why did the home team wear white shorts ?

Because the Eagles home shorts are blue not green like Woodville wore. So tehy wore white shorts like Woodvlle used to wear occasionally.

I mean could've borrowed some of Marion FC
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

There may have been a stuff up, like when Centrals wore the white guernsey last season. Jax sports didn't get the red shorts made in time so we had to play in the white ones.
