Yes, a special thanks must go to the pathetic natured members of Snouts Louts who were so stupid do something like that, just asking for trouble and I heard that the club and the players used it towards their motivation for tonight's performance. Thanks gentleman, but you can have them back...

I'll give you a leave pass on this one Big Phil, because you obviously don't know too many, if any, of us Snouts. No one from the Snouts Louts would have pulled that stunt. Whoever did do it, needs to have a serious look at themselves...they're not a mate of mine.

There are serious doubts also as to whether the "package" came from a Glenelg supporter...could it have been a Dogs supporter, trying to fire up the CDFC to get over the top of the Bays? Could it have been a bitter and twisted, mindless fool on this site?

I can tell you categorically that it was not sent by a member of the extended Snouts Louts family. Whoever it was, is a complete and utter (Brad) Moran.

Philby, have you or the CDFC have any proof that the alleged cards came from the Snouts Louts. Until you do STFU.

Why didn't you come over last night and thank us in person ?

Regards to smac, who always makes the effort to say hello, and to Centurion for the Gummy Bears. Two good blokes and two good supporters of the CDFC. Pity some other morons couldn't take a note out of their book.....

Well played Doggies, too good, too hard and too desperate...See you in the finals.

Also I meant to add good to meet smac and Centurion last night.

Also thanks to the CDFC for their consideration in making we travelling Glenelg supporters feel at home, the lukewarm pies made us feel like we were at Glenelg Oval...
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

And sent by Lee Harvey Oswald....ahhh the conspiracy theories are flying!!!!

Anyway. Well done Dogs - best of the three games I've seen this year.
But what was up with Dutschke's miss after that superlative hanger???
A good win without Schell and Havelberg.
The things I've noticed missing in other games (run to position, defending in our attack and ball use) was there tonight, as was the aggression we're used to seeing.

You Snouts started off verrry loud, what happened? Loved the banter guys.

Smac - you could've dragged me over to meet some of those Bay blokes....Sorry Jabber, I looked for a newish beanie, but couldn't see one and would've felt a bit silly going up and asking "which one of you guys is SJABC?"

Sam, I'm surprised you could type when you got home, you were falling into the bar last I saw!

Nice to meet Centurion and WHUFC too.

A last note on the sympathy cards, I think JMO is very keen to write the reply.

Also, while I'm at it - it was great to catch up with Bays reserves runner Jarrad Jackson, a top bloke. You guys have done well to get fellows like him and Adam West out there. Good footy brains and passionate about local footy too.

Yes, could have done that. But jabber smells quite badly, thought you could do without that.

Boo to weslo for actually doing their job when we tried to gatecrash the corporate box and say g'day.

Only headed back in to collect my half time raffle winnings, then had to head home. Would have been a good night to stick around though.

And the only finalist to have not beaten South.

Bit dissapointed Smac, was sure you were keeping that one for after the GF? :D

I didnt see last night, but still think overall the Dogs are a touch behind previous years and Sturt and the Bays are stiffer opposition that put up over the past few years also... their 1-4 record against Sturt/Glenelg is a worry for the Dogs IMO, one win at your home ground doesnt change a huge amount...

Interestingly - look through the stats page in the budget and I think that tells a very interesting story about the CDFC this season.

I'm just not sure what it is....

I am still keeping it for after the GF, posting it now was in reference to writing teams off - you did it months ago yet claim it is too early now to write anyone off.

It's still in my diary for Monday 6th October...

Delighted with the result last night, it really felt like our first genuinely convincing win of the year. I'd thought we'd lost some passion and motivation since last year but it was all back last night and it was one of the best full team games I've seen us play.

And Matthew Westhoff - very early call but seemed almost better than Justin in our forward line.
