Welcome Sabre, I get the general idea of what you're topic is getting at and it always informs everyone of different players, I didn't know Whelan was from the NT. But some of the greasing going on here is a bit much. Roe, Wonnamerri, Davey's X 2, M.Stokes and I think Matt Campbell ?, Sturt could claim Cameron Stokes if we're going to go this way. If you look on the respective clubs' websites you'll see alot of them are named as Territory boys.

Ha ha ha ha ha

I don't get paid a red cent for my "volunteer" radio work... :(

I do it for the love of the game and because I think that I have a pretty good knowledge of the Doggies and everything else SANFL and, if I don't say so myself ( ), come across on the radio as knowledgable, non bias and informative.

I love doing it mate and would like to go further with it one day, but unfortunately, I don't think there will be a sudden career change into the electronic media :? Not unless it gives me an all expenses paid compnay car, laptop and matches my current salary  ( I doubt it :( )

You've been doing work for a radio station ???

ASK AND YE SHALL RECEIVE EH ?
Many thanks spell_check and ALL other posters. Enjoyed the banter.
Wow that’s a lot of prime cattle. Sure hope mixing and matching your dream
teams doesn’t lead to all in cyber brawls.
It’s OK ‘redden whites’ you have a right to be sensitive (where Norwoodians are
concerned) after the weekend. Believe me, I know just how you feel. After the
shellacking the Bays gave us a few weeks ago I came very close to burning down
the Glenelg jetty.
Fortunately, anger quickly turned to admiration. When we had the bye, I couldn’t
wait to see how the Tiges would handle the Doggies on a big deck.
Seems Mark Mickan has much to teach a team that is thirsty to learn.

I've only gone by what AFL 2008 says as the last team they played for.

Matthew Stokes came down and played juniors at the Eagles. Would have played 50+ league games as well. I reckon we can count him as one of ours!

Was going to say that myself, I think he came down in 2001, then made his way into the League side in the Elimination Final of 2002. He played 65 League matches, kicking 74 goals. His best tally was 7 goals in the Qualifying Final of 2004.

You've let me down Spelly, I thought you were better than that mate :(
