Personally I'd give Tiller as long as he wanted. Hart and Phillips I wouldn't give much time at all though. Preferably none.

I'm just curious, but when Jarman was appointed, weren't all of the North supporters united and happy with that appointment?

If I'm right, and they were, then I reakon I'd steer clear of accepting any job at North where supporters will bide their time before they eat you up and spit you out.

But yes, as Punky has alluded to, the Bays have had a shocking record since Cornes with their coaches...I'm not sure you can draw a comparison though with Bays fans getting on board the "sack the coach" bandwagon though...most of our issues transpired from poor Board decisions, and blokes jumping ship to join AFL ranks, which is hardly similar to the desired sacking of ANJ.

Yep, at the time I was happy with the appointment, I even have no issue with the reappointment last year despite being aware of what he was like as IMHO there wasn't anyone better going around, only replace a coach if you can get someone better.

But I can tell you for a fact there are some absolute horror stories about his coaching which I wont go into, any supporter of any club would be absolutely shocked and astounded at some of his going ons. Despite being part time he's probably just about the highest paid coach going around too. Not his fault though, mad if he doesn't milk the club for as much as he can.

I think Ben might be the "Hart" here...

Sheesh, if Punky was coach I reakon the media would have plenty to write about all week...if his post-game bitterness is anything to go by...

Good question, one that probably couldn't be answered unless we know exactly who North will be recruiting in the next couple of years as there's a few gaps that need to be filled.
If we recruit Gary Ablett Junior, Matthew Scarlett, Brad Ottens, Matthew Stokes, Joel Selwood, Cameron Ling, Josh Hunt, Cam Mooney, Jimmy Bartel and Paul Chapman then yes, I think we can win a flag!

Not everyone was happy with the appointment but it worked out well as he did a great job initially.

Surely all you North supporters aren't tossing in the towel just yet. With 8 games or so to go, you still are a good chance of making the finals and anything can happen once your in. I wouldn't mind Westies being on the ladder where North are at the moment. :D

Something tells me that's got nothing to do with why Paul Couch was in attendance yesterday...rocked up with Gary Cameron, our league Assistant Coach...

Some Rooster fans are still hapy with Jars Tigerboss. I think it is unrealistic to expect a coach to have success every year. I don't see what the big deal is if Jars has upset a few players, some supporters do. Surely that goes with the being a senior coach. Some supporters are certainly out to get rid of him. I don't think the board is paying too much attention to their opinion. this is also one of the axes they grind.

Hooray for some commonsense from a Roosters fan...

I guess it's much easier to replace guys like Allan and Alleway than it would be to replace Jarman  I know if it was a choice between those options (not saying it is mind you) which one i'd choose. I'm sure if any football club had the choice of losing several of their best players or losing their coach they'd keep the players every time.

Still happy with a moron who doesn't bother turning up to presentations who the players don't like or respect, who spends more time telling coaches who are far more qualified than he is what they are doing wrong when he is in charge of a sinking ship himself? Each to their own i guess.
