The only thing that might save him is they won't want to sack someone they appointed and then reappointed three weeks after a 158 point loss as they might actually get held accountable.

Norwood is still in severe danger of making the finals. Currently in fourth and with every team below them outdoing each other in plumbing greater depths of ineptitude, I can't see which two of the other teams will be the ones to improve and knock Norwood out.

If Norwood does indeed hang on make the finals for the first time since God Knows When, it would be a brave board which then dismisses Hill.....

First time since 2002 actually. Prior to that, they missed the finals only twice since 1972 and they were the first two years of the Crows. We decided to take our turn to be crap for a few seasons to see why other clubs found it so fashionable. Apologies to Port Adelaide of course.

I love the way Glenelg supporters are suddenly strutting around looking down their noses at other clubs when their own club's record has been an abomination for best part of the past 15 seasons.

I love the way opposition supporters are labelling us all arrogant and superior when it is only one or two Bays supporters carrying on. Find me some examples of the majority Glenelg supporters strutting around. Most of us know we have done nothing yet.

FFS we haven't even made the finals.

I think you'll find AH that more opposition supporters have labelled us a top three side and a premiership chance than Glenelg supporters.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Kind of like all stereotypes that get used though tassie, the actions of a few taint the reputations of many.

Yeah I know, but I know the club is working very hard to keep its and teh supporters feet on the ground. Enjoy it yes but we (club, its officals and most of teh supporters) know we've done nothing yet.

Aha - you said "yet"... That implies you expect the club to do something which means you think the Bays have won the flag already.

Suggesting that Norwood will make the finals (and Hill will thus keep his job) is looking down at them?

I wouldn't be a 100% certain about Roy Laird coaching in 2009. The club would never sack him off course but as each year goes by Lairdy has hinted it may be his last.
I remember reading an article after the 2005 premiership in which he said he wouldn't be a ten year coach or anything like that and another couple of years in the job would be enough.
Him continuing would depend on his work commitments which have seemed to escalate as the years have gone on.
So yeah don't be shocked if he retires at the end of this year with Damien Hicks his replacement.

Who would you like to see as next coach of NA, drebin? Ben Hart? Maybe an outsider, such as a coach in the VFL system??

I wouldn't mind Ben Hart but whether we would get him away from the Crows after one year is unlikely? Other than that I would give David Tiller a go if he was interested.

I reckon North should get Darell Hart back, he's a good coach !!??

Otherwise, just because one coach with the surname Jarman might be on his way out, doesn't mean another Jarman could do the job ???

Give it to Darren Jarman and have Andrew as his assistant ??? Or bring back Dwayne Massey or give Scotty Peters a shot at it ???

He's been around the club for a while now hasn't he Rod-Rooster...

I reckon he's coached your ressies side for a few years...

Look how Roy Laird was able to prove himself as a League coach after biding his time as Ressies coach. Admittidly, he has had pretty good teams to coach since taking over from Al Clarkson...

But, you don't know if you don't try, another classic example is Ricky Macgowan. Maybe North should throw everything at him to get him to come back to his ORIGINAL club. Although, I must admit, if Roy Laird went on to the AFL or left Centrals for whatever reason, I wouldn't want anyone else but Rick coaching the Bulldogs. Reckon he has got a coaching future at a higher level though, maybe an assistant at AFL level after 2009 when his contract with Sturt expires...

Jeffries seems very animated at quarter and 3 quarter time huddles, but would wonder if he has much of an effect.

It's hard to tell with Rogers. His seconds have struggled for the one and a half years he's had, but they've also struggled for player depth. Have always thought his comments on ABC were spot on and he'd have an excellent football brain. Would expect the Eagles got him as reserves coach a couple of years ago to succeed Fuller when he calls it a day.

Could Colville step straight in to the coaching caper?

Jeffries did something very wrong at his last coaching job in country VIC .Not sure what but should rule him out.
Rogers is to nice a guy to coach.
Colville no way in hell no untried coach

I am not going to comment on Pyman.
But W Weideman what the hell have you been SMOKING EHL .My god he can not coach at league level .Reported to be having a ciggie at halftime during westies games . NO WAY IN HELL gez friiging hell there goes my BP again

Personally I chase Lairds assistant or Luke Norman .Perhaps the leading VFL COACH .
And a change in recruiting tactics might help as well .
