Forecast for Sat is Wet, Windy and Possible Hail.
Question(s) for Prospect regulars. Can oppositon supporters go up in the stand? or should I bring the trusty brolly and wading pants?

97 you say Mal... ???

That was over 10 years ago, this fella would have been pretty young in 97 not to be too old to make a comeback now, but why ???

I'll take a stab in the dark and say JOHN CUNNINGHAM...

John Cunningham is playing / coaching for Pembroke OS (I think, one of the SAAFL college old scholar teams)

Big Phil...

Not JC

The 97 is not connected to the year 97
It is connected to the addition of this player

ANOTHER CLUE

A rock band once included this mans name in a song

I believe
5AA will announce the player today

You can sit in the stand for a small fee - $4.00.

Are Norwood showing some desperation with this signing??? Especially since Timmy sought out 2 or 3 other clubs for a game who all said, "Thanks, but no thanks."

Still he could turnout to be a good buy? Time will tell!

Why is this ca? Is Weatherald finished? How old is he? Why did he leave Sturt? Apologies for the dumb questions but I'm not exactly up to speed with all things SANFL these days. Do you think he has nothing left to offer? [/dumbass mode]

REB - He left sturt because he didn't want to play reserves football.

Where will he play this weekend at Norwood ?

I just feel we don't need to recruit a player that only has a year or two left in him. As touched on it appeared he left Sturt becuase he didn't want to play reserves or off the bench. That makes me wonder what gurantees we have given him.

He brings experience but I feel we have enough of that and should be playing the kids a bit more. Not all Norwood people would feel the same way, I hope it is a huge success.

Well said, with all due respect I wouldn't have taken him, but then our footy department really makes a wrong decision (MAL feel free to rate that one).

Hope I'm wrong and Tim fulfills whatever personal ambition he has and becomes a solid contributor to the footy club, but truth be told he was well past it at Sturt and shouldn't be playing at Norwood at the expense of any younger player IMHO.

Thanks Legs fans. While you wouldn't want to hold back a younger player who deserves a spot, aren't these type of players the ones we've been losing for well over a decade now? In the old days you'd have your young Redlegs kicking botty in the junior grades and some of them would go on to become league regulars. These days the promising kids go off to the AFL and we don't have the do re mi to get the recruits that some other clubs can.

What is the way out for the Legs? Besides someone at the club jagging lotto. Oh, well, off to the Tim the Redleg thread.

Lotto wont help, they've got plenty of money and a good income stream now.
