Im not sure where I would start Mr.Lightyear.

I think we,as you said, need to get back to a more accountable style of play.I have no doubt our attacking mid-fielders and forwards are capable of kicking a winning score and our defence sound.

The problem is,I dont think our 'in and under' players are feeding well enough off the dominance of Maric in the ruck.

Perhaps some goal kicking practice?

100000% agree with you mate, on all aspects.
Was interesting to see last Friday night our mid-field was roughed up by the Norwood department early and i felt we went a little soft.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it had already been reported that Pickett had left Port Adelaide and playing elsewhere.

There's been conflicting reports that he may or may not play for the Boston club in Port Lincoln. Last i heard he may be playing within the next few weeks, but the story seems to change every week.

More to the point, if he is in trouble, who would be the possible replacement???????. I suppose Roger Delaney, Stephen Williams again. You'd imagine they'd stick to their own

I dont think Stephen Williams would do it again. Delaney?? Maybe. I'd say probably Tylor, i reckon Bradley Gotch could be worth chasing too.

Dunno about no.17, he needs to do something at country level before being a consideration. He could certainly be in the mix, who really knows what the Magpies are thinking though.

Good call GWW, Brad Gotch would be an excellent target. I've heard some really good things about him and you'd imagine he might be up for a change of scenery given he was passed over for a couple of head jobs in the AFL in the last couple of years.

Yeah i first saw Brad Gotch's name put forward by Chris Kendall in a Sports Beat edition a few weeks ago, and i think it makes a lot of sense, I think Gotch may have played some footy for Port in the 80's too.

Not sure if spelly has any record of Gotch's playing record..

After having a look in my footy "Bible", Gotch played 11 games & kicked 25 goals for the Maggies in 1985.
