I have Norwood scorers from 2001, and in that time Scott Borlace kicked 6 in Round 12 2001; Scott Carslake kicked 7 in Round 8 2002.
Did Scott Carslake ever get another kick in the SANFL after that game. It was against Central and he won the game off his own boot and then vanished of the face of the earth.
Well let's see now. After Carslake booted that bag of 7, he played another 4 seasons after that, adding a further 82 games and 50 goals. He was pretty much a regular player for Norwood. Not really sure that's "vanisdhing off the face of the earth"
Sorry i will admit i forgot to put the wink emotion in, and i used the "vanishing of the earth" as a figure of speech.
I was getting at the point that that was probably his biggest career moment and he probably never took a game apart like that before or after that match in his career
