thankyou eye, sturt have 2 hoodoos in footy they can not beat wwt & they haven't won at the adelaide oval since the resurfacing & if we beat them again the next time that'd make 3 hoodoos [/quote]

Eagles yes after 14 games its a so called Hoodoo but just coz we have lost to glenelg last 3 games and havent won at Adelaide for 3 games i wouldnt call them hoodoos

if 3 or 4 games counts as a hoodoo then sturt have one over West, port and south

Only because they have played one more game than most others. Sturt have two losses, Glenelg only one.

Is there a hidden message you're trying to send with that nonsensical mix of emoticons SP?

Good to see Timmy has gotten over his dummy spit and is willing to play for a decent team if the right offer is made.

Yes Timmy that definitely proves it was a dummy spit and you didn't really want to retire!!!

He was at Prospect on Saturday, is he looking at South or North? I'd think North had too many players in his style already. South perhaps?

Expect a hungry Blues to comprehensively beat the WWT Footy Club for the 1st. time in 5 years at the unique Thebarton Oval, ground wher Flash Graham made his League debut many years ago. 8)

what happened ? & my pal mickyj was right he said that if we gave them a 4 or 5 goal head start it'd at least be intersting for the match

As my lad and i sat in the Grandstand me having 1980 flashbacks for a short period (lasted about 23 minutes). My very smart 19 yo son turned to me and said "DAD does this remind you of the year we were giving everyone a five goal head start and winning. And that finals game that sturt were 5 goals up and cica went forward and killed off sturt" and i replied "yes son yes it does"
Different year a coach that's into his second year, a nancy boy away jumper and guess what its the same old Sturt .the only things that didn't happen was feast either A start the game and go off injured or B miss a goal from 10 mtres out!!
Funny thing is it seems every year we are all talking about Sturt this Sturt that .Or someone at sturt spitting a dummy .
It's Just like moving the deck chairs on the TITANIC were poor old sturt are concerned .
What are the odds on sturt now missing the five seeing Chambers is no longer looked after by the umpires ?
