Hope Cubillo is okay, and good to see Hurley is playing again. Does anyone have a final score for the reserves? On DB.org it's been mentioned that Charlie Sharples kicked a bag of goals, can anyone confirm if it was for the seniors or reserves.

The only new player to really impress for Centrals was Daniel Boyle who is a Power rookie, its only early but we seem to have recruited for our reserves again.James Moss was pretty good as well, both Moss and Boyle are well developed for their ages.

Another thing from the trial is that the umpiring will never improve, absolute shite. The little <edited by mods> guy running around would be better off umpiring soccer.

Well everyone seems to think it is okay for the players to screw up, seeing it is a trial, why should it be any different for the umpires?

I'm sure Barrie Robran would appreciate Punky's noble suggestion.

Saw the game played in trying conditions.

Great to catch up with my Sturt mates and meet some very generous, decent Central District supporters.

Thanks for the beer guys and the great banter back at Grand Central.

Should be a blockbuster on Sat April 5th. :D :D

The umpiring will only get worse i feel Jardog, un-educated (on football) uni students controlling the game we love, we were taught too play to the whistle but you feel for the current players on the field today when the umpires treat the whistle as a 'means of power'. Destroying the game..........

Gotta say that I was somewhat taken back that the main sponsor of the Fruity Tuity Woompi Doompi band would be home on the computer at 1.42 yesterday. Especially when they had the main stage with a tribute to the works of Osibisa featuring grass sticks & Gnu tusks.
Hey soccer you owe us 45million.

Actually not sure which I detest more, Womad or internet heroes who are happy to bag injured players from behind their keyboards.

But I do love the 'punker than you' game especially from someone named after a Frank Zappa song. LMAO.

A noble charitable act organising funds for an injured player is hardly bagging him Topsy. Quite the opposite I would have thought? :)

Perhaps my scarcasm detector was turned up too high, but I noted a mild dig there!

Even if he was being sarcastic, insinuating that North supporters wouldn't be upset he's injured would be complimenting him insinuating he's a good player who North supporters are upset to have left.

So one of 2 things can be deemed from Punky's post, either a) there's a genuine show of compassion (which is how its written) or b) complimenting him on a being good player.
Hardly a dig or bagging I would have thought? :?
Christ, some people are sensitive these days.
