"Was really dissapointed to see Biagi go, had an outstanding 2006 season, form slumped a bit in 2007 but was still a solid contributor. Can get BOG from the back pocket.

Didn't see him going to WWT, I knew he was sounded out by a number of VFL clubs, and I heard pretty close to signing with Frankston (stand alone club) thats the trouble with the VFL at the moment to many conflicts of interest and now Casey lose a B&F winner, It also didn't help with the depature of Banfield, a big wrap of Biagi's.

Yes I checked him out on a VFL site and was told he was backman come midfielder .and he can do the freakish thing on field .

You might just get your wish to reduce all those annoying people wanting to talk about their SANFL football team.

Just a reminder - AGM on Tuesday at Woodville Oval Clubrooms from 7:30pm - All members welcome - memberships new and renewals can be made on the night.

Hope to see all WWTFC members there.

There will be at least 2 very exciting announcements on Tuesday - I will post details after the AGM.

Just got home from AGM and complimentry drinks with the members at the conclusion of the meeting.

An excellent turn out of members with a couple of very good ideas & suggestions put to the board plus lots of questions about matters relating to the club including our long term lease at Woodville Oval and redevelopment of the clubrooms, our use of Thebarton, financial projections etc.

3 Life memberships awarded - to long time board and committee member David Lang, to past player for Woodville and long time assistant coach Shane Reardon, and recently retired player Jon Floreani.

Jon's award was accepted by his father Aldo - also a life member - we think the first Father Son combination to achieve this - Jon was an apolgy as he became a father late this afternoon with the safe arrival of his first child a lovely new daughter and new junior member. Aldo's speech on behalf of Jon and as a new grandfather was terrific.

The two announcements tonight I've mentioned before were that the members at the AGM had a seek preview of the new Eagles logo and heard the updated club song - the new version!

Also good to see so many of the regular eagles fans who post on here attending tonight - appreciate your support folks.

cd, theres been a bit of talk recently that Joe Pedler is likely to be an OUT for WWT this season. He has been linked to a club in the River Murray Football League. Are you able to confirm this?

Joe is not an out.

Also trial against Sturt on March 1st is at Thebarton.

Great night had by all for those who attended. Pity for anyone who didn't get there. The night saw the unveiling of the new Eagles logo and a modified or updated version of the club song. Guess you'll just have to wait now but I can assure you it's crackerjack !!!. It was good to see Jon Floreani be inducted to life membership - certainly well deserved achievement. Well done to the WWTFC for putting on a fantastic night.
