It seems it always takes a West Adelaide Coach for the Bays to win a Premiership :D

Seriously, congratulations to Michael Godden and his team.

Go you good things, enjoy the next few weeks of celebrating your win. Seriously though young men it is time for you to step up and demand league selection next year - you will be the foundation stone of our success - if you want to do the work.

Well done Tigers. First ressies flag since 82 and our first flag of any description since the u/19s in 1992. Great work Micky Godden, a young man with a real coaching future in front of him. Great to see Blocky win the Bob Lee medal, espcially after his great game (in vain) in the 2005 GF. Good luck to Jack Horan, Well done and enjoy life after league footy. Great to see a winning culture return to the bay. Sure i'ts Centrals day but Bays fans can take a lot of heart from the performances of all grades this year.

well done to glenelg who were clearly the best team on the day. Lucas Block cleary was the best player on the ground by a mile and fully deserved his medal win. He has always played well when I've seen him and I cannot beleive he cant get a game consistently in the league side. ......I hope you can hold on to him...........?

Blocky is a very good reserves footballer and unfortunately is often the first player dropped when he does get a go in to the league team. I dunno, he might be 21/22 so i would hope he could hang around at the bay filling Ben Moore or Josh Mahoneys role. But for the moment he can enjoy the fact that he was best on ground in a granny for the bays!

well done to the bays. Big turn around in the space of 2 weeks :(

South just werent sharp enough today. Played well in spurts but couldnt maintain the effort over a full Q. Had a few chances in the third to really close the margin but blew them and then the bays ran away with it.

Not a great day for the club, losing the Under 13 and 14's gfs as well

It is just a sensational effort by the Boys and I do mean boys as the average age of the team is 19. Most of those boys showed today they are made of "sterner stuff" to be able to turn around poor individual and a team perforamcne in the space of 2 weeks.

A nigh on 100 pt turnaround augars well for the future of the GFC IF those boys (who became men today) can take the same qualities they have shown in the last two weeks and apply it to the 40 odd weeks of the 2008 season starting in late November 2007.

The Tiger is starting to stir.....

Congratulations to the Glenelg Footy Club on their stellar effort and turnaround of the Reserves side today. We had our chances and made a pigs breakfast of it when it counted.

Glenelg really seemed to hit their straps hard in the last half of this season I wont be surprised if its Glenelg vs Central this time next year!
