If that's your point then the dogs have now won the past 8 of them, for 5 premierships!

I'm not sure how you can make that observation as he's been in fantastic form since Rd 16 and was 2nd best on ground when we beat you at Prospect in Rd 19. :?

This game will be decided in the MIDFIELD, simple as that.

Lindsay will destroy O'Hara (has had his one good finals game)...
Particularly around the ground.
Which ever team's midfielders manage to dominate the 'take aways' from the contested rucks, will win the game.

North's ability to get on top whilst Lindsay is resting, again will pose problems for our guys.

I would 'drop' McGregor to the bench & play him as a 'stop-gap' in bursts both forward & back.
MUST play Geddes again, leaving Grocke out, Geddes played VERY well last week.
Passadore into the forward line, might mean Symo misses out.
I wouldn't pick 'sicknote' (Inkster), is a liability in my opinion at this stage of the year, due to his injuries.

Dare I say it... Ladams & Darren Jarman might dominate them

Nah, they wouldn't stand a chance with some members of the Eagles "cheer squad" around.

Does that include me.

Wedgie, I am only going on what your fellow North supporters posted on here last week, saying that Ladhams was sadly out of form.

Not sure. Don't know who you are. If you are one of the grotesquely obese people who are part of that "cheer squad" then yes. If not no. Either way it would pay not to insult others about their weight if having yourself or your associates insulted about their weight offends you.

CD must be playing tricks with you Wedgie my email says GEDDES not Grocke on the bench.
And I would think Kenny Mac to go down back at some stage.

Yes Geddes played last week and kicked an important Goal. And he was also involved in keeping the ball away from the bays and getting the ball to symmons and the rest is history.Or as they say Glenelg was gone like last weeks pay!!

Nah mate, didn't really watch it at all, just took a few snaps of it.
Too much bloody yellow hurts my eyes anyway. It was ghastly.
Thanks for the info.

I like the fact we are taking in an unchanged line-up it's good to have a settled structure at this time of year. Allthough I am a little surprised Passa didn't get a call up - he's obviously not fit though. I think if we get into a similar position as we did a couple of weeks ago we will not suurender the lead. My tips the Eags in a tight one. Just hope the wind doesn't blow a gale like two weeks ago .

Really looking forward to this game. I think a lot of pressure is on North to win. Hopefully the Eagles just go out there and play finals footy like they know they can and keep the intensity up for the full 4 quarters. Looking at the names out of the Eagles side: Passador, Colville, Inkster, Grocke, R Fiacchi - it's been a great effort and testament to the depth at the club to get this far. It will be up to the players how far they can go. I think the belief, hard work and talent in this group will be enough to get them over the line. Go you Eagles!

Interesting that Thornton has both teams up as equal favs ($1.90).
So far North have won one final as underdog and lost one final as underdog.
So far Eagles have lost one final as fav and lost one final as fav.

Looking at those stats I thought there'd be more pressure on the Eagles?

Wedgie - what about Lonie surely he will play if not taken by the Power. I know he's listed as an emergency for them and will travel but if he doesn't play surely Jars will get him to do a mercy dash back to Adelaide. Out of the extended int who is most likely to miss do you think.
