What is going on with the SANFL umpiring?

The standard of umpiring has been poor in the SANFL for quite a while.

Not a great display of manners from Warren at the very least...to be so direct about one umpire in particular is a little dangerous at best. May want to have a careful look at the replay before hanging too much over one head in particular.

Interesting to note also the coaches didn't seem to have a lot negative to say about the displays either (noting they are restricted from full disclosure of feelings).

Been a lot worse displays than these this year - if the free kick count wasn't so high, it may not have been that great a factor. Put it this way - as Wedgie did earlier this year in one game - why not check the replay to see exactly how many goals it cost the teams?

Out of interest also - how does a player with match stats of 4 kicks, 3 marks, 1 handball and nine hitouts make the best players? I think even Fabian Deluca would be surprised at that.
