Sturt1 before you start saying things like that .You better watch you own backsides IMHO Glenelg will run your mob off their feet and you'll finish 5th..

Whoever wins out of north and the eagles will want to be fully fit to face the doggies the week after.
And i hope it was noticed that i stood up for North in this post .It will not happen often ,bloody Sturt trolls .

Very true Sturt1  You should perhaps take your own advice Brother.

Im just glad WWT dont have to play Glenelg in the first week of the finals.... they are clearly better than Sturt and North and evenly matched with WWT (probably deserved to win the game on form). My feeling is that when WWT turn the screws we can beat North & Sturt.... Glenelg seem to have the right matchups

First time in years that all top five teams have the talent to beat each other

I agree JamesH .But would the result have been the same with a wind that was not so tricky .Making it easier for the EAGLEs to kick 10 instead of 4 goals 6.
Plus when the EAGLES face glenelg they will know that Glenelg will flood.

I agree too, I'd much rather North play the Eagles rather than the Bays, at least we can all agree on that!

There could be a couple of sides more than a bit worried about Glenelg, I've edited your post to reflect how simmilar i feel to you RE: the Bays.

I wouldn't be concerning myself with Glenelg unless I was a Sturt supporter...

2nd-5th are all pretty close as is reflected on the ladder. Eagles and North are fortunate to have the opportunity to win their way into a play-off for the Grand Final in the first week of finals.

Selections will be very interesting this week for both Eagles and North. Specifically how both coaches handle the tall forwards. Ideally I would imagine a 3 pronged tall forward line would suit both teams. North have Gill, Perrie, White, Wundke and Alleway to choose from and the Eagles have Schwarze, Salter, Grocke, McGregor and Passador. For team balance, one of those 5 for both teams would perhaps start in the back line or on the bench and another would miss out all together?

Will Passador be fit by next week ?
Could a spot be found for Vinnie ruggulo and play him up forward and not on the ball.
If the Crows delist Ian Perrie before next week will Jarman drop him to the seconds?

It's looking like an exciting finals series that's for sure.

This game is going to be a cracker, given the tight result when the two sides last met. At this stage, I reckon North will win, so Centrals can have a bit of variety come the 2nd SF..
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

BAck to the 80s here we go!!!!! Maybe we can get Peter Couples to do the pre-game entertainment a la 1985!!! And the dancing girls can bring back their "heat is on" routine

If Glenelg beat North in a GF again I wouldn't go to the celebrations I would go and guard my house and wait for Punky's fire bombing onslaught

Well put Mickyj. Sturt1 can't get over the fact that the UNDER ACHIEVERS got up from 50 points down to win.
He is right of course. up to now North has under achieved for the last couple of seasons or so and I think, if not all, then most Rooster fans would agree, but Sturt1's post is not objective in it's content, just bitter.
