Broadbent and Brooksby confirmed by the club have signed with South and will be announced this afternoon. Ben Warren returning to the club as assistant coach together with Chad Simmons from Sturt. List looking goo for the Panthers now just waiting on the AFL mid season, pre-season draft to destroy all the clubs good work, just like last year.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhh what is happening?!?!?!?!?!?!? I haven't felt this optimistic since........ I have never felt this optimistic before. Well, as much as one can in November. But yes, very weary of the AFL drafts and "sign whoever you want whenever you want before the season starts" period.
This is very exciting news for PanthersFans! :D

No, not anymore.

Was considering it, but changed his mind, now.

Enjoyed country footy, playing with his brother and winning a flag too much.

Good player but not what we need atm.

We have a few Hanna types Barreau East Gillard etc....

Butcher returning in a coaching role ??

Goalkicking.

Another couple of recruits announced for North. Elliot Chalmers and Sam Davis, both from Glenelg.

The North Adelaide Football Club would like to announce the signing of Elliot Chalmers and Sam Davis for season 2020.

Elliot and Sam were both at Glenelg in 2019 and will add different attributes to the Roosters squad.

Elliot Chalmers, 23 years old, is a running half back who can play through the midfield.

Elliot has a physical presence to his game which is complemented by his good foot skills and running capacity.

Sam Davis, 20 years old, is a tall rebounding defender who reads the play and kicks the ball well.

Sam played in the State Under 20 team in 2019 and he also has the ability to play through the midfield with his endurance at a good level for his size.

Senior Coach Jacob Surjan had the following words to say about Elliot and Sam’s arrival;

“Elliot comes with a winning mentality and a hunger to improve and get better. We are excited to see Elliot bring his personality and physical nature to both trainings and match day.”

“I coached Sam in the state Under 20’s program in 2019 and was impressed with his ability to kick the ball and defend his opponent. We think Sam has tremendous upside to his game and will add a lot of value to the playing group.”

We would like to welcome Elliot and Sam to the Rooster family and look forward to watching them represent the red and white in 2020.

Glenelg losing a few. Either of these two play much for the league side this year?

Chalmers was holding down a league spot until his “ahem” off field indiscretion...
Davis never played seniors.

very handy to have him in a coaching role, can't play anymore, body not up to it, Krazy Kris got this one right when he decided to "let him go"

C'mon, give me a hint. Surely it wasn't just for clearing his throat...
