A former powerhouse and developer of talent in this area ( the Magpies ) hands the mantle to the BEST developer of young talent in the country.
Eagles just a small step behind.

Luke Thompson, Alex Spina and James Battersby delisted by Adelaide Crows this afternoon...

http://www.triplem.com.au/melbourne/spo ... battersby/

While Thompson is a Melbourne boy, I'm sure the Eagles will want to have a chat with him, seeing as though he is a Premiership player there and had a great relationship with the club.

No doubt North and Sturt respectively will be hoping Spina and Battersby, who I thought played some very good SANFL footy this year, will return to their former clubs...

Let's not forget the most expensive by a long margin, if not the highest profile, recruits to the SANFL in 2015—all the way from Hawthorn, it's Kyle Cheney and Luke Lowden.

Given that the Crows 2nds have dumped or waved goodbye to 9 AFL-listed players who played some SANFL in 2014, and it's looking likely that 7 of their replacements will be kids fresh out of the draft, I reckon that the Crows reserves' passionate supporters can pretty safely book September holidays next year. Both of them.

All 4,000 of them ?
They will all spend a few days in Melbourne with their mentor Steven Trigg.

Don't think Grigg will play much SANFL next season either. I think a change in staff for the AFL side would mean he wi get more of a run. This would mean they would be weaker again. But I know what your saying with some of the players delisted, the SANFL side will be younger again.

Rumour mill suggests 1, if not both headed to Morphettville Park.

Do you know something the other Bays supporters don't know Pseudo?

Pretty sure I'd heard that things were going brilliantly down there. :D
