Has the bubble burst for Blues ???

I can't see them winning another game this year. Finish 5th, out in Elimination Final.

Port this week, although Port's form has been up & down, is their last chance this week (they will be up for it), then Centrals @ Elizabeth ( is dogs 2nd last game & will be 'fired up' ), then the Bays @ the bay ( Glenelg running red hot @ moment, one of the form teams of the comp. ) then finally North @ Adelaide (last round, haven't won their in 2 tries, North will need to win to consolidate double chance ).

Then play the bays in Elimination Fianl & get rolled.

All results in the 'bandwagon' being bid "toodle-pip" for another year

P.S. Seems that Sturt are suspect to Finals type body on body pressure, based on BOTH games v Eagles this year ( they have become the 'Eagles Bitches' )

Full marks to the eagles to the eags on saturday, they played very well. The important thing for them is to concentrate on firstly making sure they win enough games to make the five and to have any chance of winning the flag getting top 3. I think they have a real chance of doing this but the job is still in front of them.

PS: Still centrals bitches

There is no doubt that you are bogey side of the past few years and every team has one usually !!!

But as for finals type pressure we were probably only really broken down in the last qtr on Saturday - even though we lost on the weekend I really am not to fussed about losing to the eagles by a few goals in a minor round match !!!

Blue boys you are dead right - every team has one. I think LEH is hoping it's Sturt that falls over and misses the third spot as he is obviously worried about the Eagles not being able to beat North this week which will make it almost a cert with a 2 & a half games gap if we win that North will sew up the double chance.

A bravado post indeed LEH and you may be getting well ahead of yourself writing off Sturt after the Eagles just "fell in"!

From the point of view of another EAGLES fan who watched both games Saturday.Sturt can not blame anyone or anything for losing except themselves. Both Sturts teams in seconds and league died /stopped/went missing in the last quarter of each game. At the 20 minute mark(or there abouts) of the last quarter in the seconds Sturt had that game won so far in front no chance of losing with the time left on the clock, but they lost .And both of Sturts teams had trouble kicking straight in front of goals.
Sturts coach was quoted on the advertsier site as not knowing if it was fitness or a fade out.
You can run us EAGLE fans down say what you will about merged teams .I'll just look at the score board at the end of each game guys. Because the fans of the teams that beat the eagles seem a lot better winners than the fans of the losing sides trolling on the net  .
Have a good one guys.

Well played on saturday. Remember you are still below us on the premiership ladder and havent won enough games to secure top 5 yet however you make it sound like ronnie has just led you to another flag. You were, are and always will be the doggies bitches.

Really? You should have heard all the cows supporters calling 'baaaaaaaaaaaallll' in front of the Chappell Stand on Sat!

Lets assume that Baaaaaaaaaallll, was yelled once, for each bone jarring tackle an eagle player laid on his sturt opponent.
You would have heard that 56 times, understandably noticable don't you think? Heaven forbid if the sturt players felt more mental pressure because of it also.

1. Straight sets... err on a saturday you will only play a 1 SET MATCH... or are you refering to Davis Cup ???

2. Bandwagon ... have hardly missed a game in 16 years ( except for 97 & 98, but no buses from Southfields London !!! ), & I question how many YOU have been to in that time ??

3. Baaaaallllll... If you knew me @ the footy, then you would KNOW that I am forever being paid out for BEING FAIR to BOTH teams when I see what a 'maggot' doesn't. 8)

4. Doggies Bitches... fair call although it's fair to say that not too many sides in the past decade can claim a winning % over them (Spelly... Eagles better than most??).

5. Eagles will account for North this week but I expect them to still finish Top 3 ... another team that has been suspect to Finals Type Pressure (coach even admits they will be judged in September)

6. I stand by the statement that Sturt WILL NOT win another game in 2007. In fact I expect them to finish the Minor round BEHIND the Bays.

Now you lot can go on about being on Bigfooty  , having a crack @ me & my club about mergers or whatever... the facts are that the Colours on the chimney are STILL Blue, Gold & Green... & with the players to come back in & those still gaining match fitness (Colville, Inkster, McKensie), the Eagles ARE a genuine threat in 2007 if we manage to get the double chance & questions are STILL TO BE ASKED of Sturt, Glenelg & North. Of this there is NO doubt & I for one have EVERY RIGHT to continue to ask those questions & I will.

This post is DESIGNED to be an ALTERNATIVE to the continual 'spruking' posts about Sturt & McGowan that we have had to ENDURE throughout the year. Respond or not, your choice...

You have to admire LEH - he is putting his "nuts" on the line but he ain't
backing down however if it goes "pear shaped" for him there will be a fair line up of posters looking for retribution.

Jimmy Jimmy get your landsize facts straight my folks live down woody way on a very large block .And just for the record I live in the middle of port Adelaide's Heartland on a large block as well once the area no one wanted to live in and now all the trendy people are lining up to live around here lands prices to go up 60 percent . Mind you who would want to live in the dog boxes they are building.
I might be a dumb low paid worker but at least my team wins more than it loses.
And just for the RECORD your Club blew its chances against the EAGLES by not kicking easy goals in both grades.

I am going to continue my rant here.
How can you people actually pick on a suburb were others live .This is really really low picking on the social welfare of others some thing one comes to expect from the people who live in the RICH EASTERN suburbs.I am pretty sure that people from Port Adelaide, Elizabeth and Woodville would not and do not do this to others.
And i bet you would get treated better by people in these lower income areas .

I will also add i just watched a wrestling PPV so I am pumped up a bit :D
