Great crowd and atmosphere here at Elizabeth, as well...

I'd guess close to 3K for the crowd and a triple figure win for the Dogs...

I agree . Do they leave it against Glenelg or rotate it . If Glenelg are up there they will draw a bigger crowd. I think just let these two clubs as they both agree to it.

I wouldn't say 3k is a great crowd.

Of course it would be a good crowd, could play a game of tiddlywinks on Good Friday and get a decent crowd. The most boring day of the year is Good Friday.

Yeah for me it's a bit like the AFL ANZAC Day argument. Only two clubs wanted to play on the day, let them have it

Yeah true but I think they'd average 4 to 4.5 k . Sorry but nobody could surely have a crack at the SANFL with this result. If we can criticise the SANFL surely we can also acknowledge a great result without blaming them or the AFL Reserves.

True however there are 3 clubs South shouldn't play. West, Eagles or Centrals.

It will be ruined in the next year or so when Gilligan lets the AFL clubs play Good Friday.. Should be left as a genuine local level initiative without interference from Gilligan and co.

Not sure that the bit about the AFL Anzac Day is true - they pretty much always had games on Anzac Day, sometimes three or four.

Why? Are you suggesting having another game like they did today impacted the attendance? Doesn't sound like it did and Centrals got probably their best crowd for some time as well.

Brilliant attendance at Noarlunga though - they could be finally on the brink of cracking that Southern market.
Players win touches, Teams win matches, Clubs win Premierships.

It was like a Glenelg home game crowd wise again in my opinion. South still don't have many fans.

There was a long period without ANZAC Day fixtures. Sheedy approached several clubs first and all refused the invitation to play on that day. Collingwood were very hesitant at first but eventually agreed.
