We are probably at a stage then, where funding from the SANFL is required for mandatory medical officers at each game. One club cant have an edge when it comes to game day safety.
As Knowledge has told us, in glory times past, with the networking abilities of the SANFL clubs, students and professionals flocked to league clubs to hone their skills. Besides the professional self satisfaction gained from volunteering, there was community recognition and the advantages it presents. This recognition is fading as Gen X drifts off into middle age and the SANFL loses its relevance or prestige.

I think Corey Reichert had to go to a clinic during the reserves game at Norwood to get a dislocated finger put back in. He came back and came back on in the second half. Then on Saturday Jarrod Schiller sustained a nasty cut to his head and the Port doctor refused to help. He also had to find a clinic to get fixed up. .

Obviously the best thing to do would be for Centrals to get themselves a club doctor and not rely on others, but you would think/hope if there was anything serious the opposition club doctor would help. I wouldn't expect much for a cut though.
Perhaps Jarrod could have grabbed his wallet and pulled out his power membership - may have been enough to get him patched up.

Thanks for the advice. Highly qualified, I'm sure. You'd assume the club has been trying damn hard to get a club doctor and hasn't been able to find someone with the time to commit. Unfortunate. Possibly a sign of the times?

Yep, the club have been trying all year to find a Doctor with no luck.

pretty hard to find a doctor with no luck :D
