Absolutely spineless last quarter, ran up the white flag 5 minutes in. Thankfully other results keep going out way

It has to happen now if we're to play majors again.

Norwood by plenty. Try to dress nicely centrals fans, No tank tops, No Ciggies in the top pocket please.

Interesting Stereotyping bigot.

Perhaps you should scan around your own team's fan base!

Wasn't just the last qtr Jim. 2 goals in the 2nd half to 8, but Centrals won all over the oval. Had more of the ball, laid more tackles, won the clearances and had more inside 50's.

I'd say they deserved that win.

And of course right on cue, Retzlaff has a scoreless game :D

We got out to a 3 goal lead midway through the third quarter. Gave away a couple of silly goals late on but still were winning our fair share of the ball and having a dip.
Once the Dogs hit the lead in the last our heads dropped and we refused to chase or tackle and it looked like a training drill for the majority of the quarter. The will simply wasnt there and we gave up

I'm happy but there's still a long way to go. Our mozzie fleet is super impressive, can't wait until J. Schiller is back. We are nearly back to our brutal-tackling style of 5 or 6 years ago, We just need 2 more big blokes, that's all. 99 tackles!! FFS!!
Thanks for the beer Baldy :D

Centrals' tackling pressure has been a feature this season but is a hell of a lot more evident in their wins/draws this season. A 22+ disparity in tackling pressure between when they win/draw and lose is huge. And 99 tackles in a game is comfortably a season record.

Well done Dogs. Good win. Once again great pressure. Travis Schiller was outstanding in the last quarter. Love how he plays. The Club gave the best player to Hoskin and second best to Tom Collier. Kemp got the coaches award.

Kudos to both teams and the crowd in the respect paid to Phil Walsh at the start of the game.

Yeah I wrote that in the afterglow - hope it doesn't come back to bite - but I think we could see their form was dropping previous to the Glenelg game. Glenelg though are a real surprise.

On Norwood, Im amazed Baulderstone isn't on an AFL list. Jack Hannath from Centrals was an honest performer and hard worker at Centrals prior to Freemantle picking him up - he did have an elite kick. Baulderstone seems as least the same.
