I predict that the umpires are the 3 BOG's for the Eagles this week again. Im sure they will try their hardest to get them over the line, hopefully South can get the job done against the odds

Not sure about that WW. Surely fans from each club are going to lean towards their own club. Not sure that gives any good signs for the contests.
It probably gives a good sign of blind faith though

Let it go , its going to eat away and kill you if you don't. Plus its becoming monotonous.

As monotonous as umpiring at Hybrid games.

I took out a South 3 game membership at the beginning of this year as I struggled to digest the way my club behaved during the lead up to the Presidents' vote re the AFL incursion, and I was so impressed with the way the South president held his views.

( I couldn't quite come at also taking out a Centrals social membership as well....that probably says more about me than Kris Grant).

I'm not like LPH, I'm still wedded to my club that voted "yes" but I'll be barracking for the Panthers as hard as I can this Saturday and I reckon they have to win at least one final to consolidate all the goodness of this year. And who knows what might happen in a First Semi if they get past the Elim. Two reasonable midfields, and two strong forward lines with Eddy to make more of his opportunities than last week! South Adelaide by 13 points.

As for my mob in the Qualifying...if the defensive structure in the midfield and the two quarterbacks in Bode and McGuiness can contain supply to Coad and Duldig then Norwood should control the game. Wilson should be one to watch in this final series, and look out for Davis' contested pack marks. Norwood to make a bit of a mess of Strut by 46 points.

Redlegs and "Go Panthers!!!!!" for mine this Saturday.

I don't think anyone would be disappointed if South won it this year. Anyone apart from West supporters that is.

I'd be disappointed if South won and we didn't. However; if another team was to win instead of Norwood, I'd rather it be the Panthers.

I would be
Seems South are the raging favorites for every final this year we better go paint theirs on the chimney right now

With South being the out right favorite for the elimination final I'm thinking way back to 2010 when sturt was and that went well for sturt not !!

Norwood by 25 points
Eagles by 12 points

Can't find the markets for the individual games but Centrebets flag market is:

Port Adelaide Reserves $2.10
Norwood $3.40
Sturt $5.25
South Adelaide $9.00
Eagles $11.00

So that suggests Norwood are favourites over Sturt and South are favourites over the Eagles.

From memory over the years, upsets seem more common in elimination finals than in the QF.

2013 where a team coming in off 5 losses in a row defeated a team whose form was 2 wins in a row, is a good example. 2010 was a good one, where Sturt accounted for the Eagles by 38 points in the final round of the H&A season, only to back up against them the next week in the EF and lose by 70 points. So while South are deserved favourites on form, I'm not sure how much you want to be a favourite on form in the EF.

Is it safe to assume the 2 hour 'event parking' restrictions around the uni parklands etc will still be enforced this saturday?

With Power playing Sunday arvo i assume SANFL finals will be on at the same time again next week.
Norwood should benefit from this with the Power certain to hold back 3 emergencies for their AFL final the next day. What a farce it will be

Happy to be corrected, but I think this is the first year since 1998 that both WWT and Centrals have been out this early in the season.
