The Centrals repeat game was down by about 1500 as well so between 25-40% have already lost the novelty factor after one game.

That and the Crows AFL team were playing at Adelaide Oval that night. Not that there would have been 1,500 extra Crows supporters at the first Central/ Crows game.

So let me get this right then wedgy; you are accusing North Adelaide of giving the correct crowd figure for last week but giving a false figure for yesterday?

@maxyouz

You'd better edit your post to ad: and the crowd figure was made up; to your post on the first page.

The conspiracy theories from the no AFL mob on here get crazier and crazier!

Good win by the Crows in the end! Really thought when they blew the three goal lead and North hit the front that North would go on and win. Certainly had their share of opportunities and the Crows better conversion was the difference in the end.
No Surrender!

I agree that crowd figure is a joke.
We have grandstand seats at prospect and have been estimating crowds for decades.....I smell a rat.

As opposed to the empirical evidence we're calmly presented by Crowtards of course.
'People are not stupid. They know when they are being conned. And two reserves teams operating in a League competition will reduce it to a farce, a competition without a soul.'

I thought the same about the crowds at Elizabeth. I have been to most matches there in the last 40 years, and I thought it was the lowest crowd I had seen. Mrs has been going for the last 5 years and said the same. The fact that there was 1700 was a surprising figure; it looked either on par or sub 1000. Canteen and bar staff commented on how bad it was.

All the Crows fans take their own thermos of coffee and apricot slice, so unfortunately, the canteen and bar staff would be unreliable sources of crowd judgement - IMO.
