Fact: winners always think the umpiring are good.
Fact: she copped some abuse from "feral" Norwood "members/supporters".
Fact: she copped just as much abuse from "feral" South "members/supporters".

Another Fact: you're looking good now but you've done nothing for 50 years, don't get too cocky.

Your first fact is, in actual fact, opinion.

Not disagreeing with your second and third facts (and that was abuse directed at all umpires in general by both supporters, which you get at every game).

I'm talking about the constant sexist vitriol streaming from the traps of certain supporters. What does being a woman have to do with anything?

And I don't understand the relevance of your fourth fact. You're the one who thought you'd win by 40+, weren't you?

Your stats have been great mate, but seems as though you've found some voice now that your boys are up and about.

No one is going to condone the actions of dickheads, unfortunately we have our share like every other club, but I'd be focussing on the positives your club are now delivering than worrying about opposition "supporters"

From a results perspective, I have given up on this season, just don't think we're good enough. Hope I'm wrong but can't see it in this instance.

Won't stop me supporting the boys though.

except at Noarlunga ;)

No, we will beat them this weekend.

Yes but you will have to beat them at least 3 times this year. Do you really think that is likely?

Break enough of them this week within the laws of the game and make sure they can't play this year ;)

Only need to win the one that matters.

Just 'cos you're playing to custom-made list rules, still doesn't mean that you can win the flag in May.

This weekend Port will likely be lacking at least 3 players who played last weekend (Amon, Slattery, Haren). Unfortunately for South, they're hardly the 3 players on which their dominance has been built. But it shows that things can change pretty substantially across a week, let alone 4 months. If they're still getting similar results to the last 5 weeks during August, then I'll believe that they'll win a final. Until then... the 1986/1987 era Sydney Swans were accused of having bought success, and bullied teams by record margins during the minor round, too.

Correct.
