Good luck Dog_ger, by my calculations you'd have to win by over 100 points and rely on North losing by 100 points!
Stranger things have happened (not many though!).

Eaglehaslanded

I would back our forward line in any day, plenty of options, Schell and Cowan state key forwards, while Scoullar, Mackenzie and Griffen all can be used as a third tall option, not to mention Westhoff playing across half forward

I agree eagles midfield is strong, especially with skippy and knights but the dogs have plenty of options with the Gowans, McCabe, Slade, Thomas, O'sullivan, Ware, Switalia, Cochrane, Wilson so there are players who can run thru the midfield, off HB or HF or on the wing....... not sure if the eagles have that depth of runners across every line and flexibilty to mix it up

Apparently an incident between one of the Gowans and an Eagles supporter. Reports of jumping the fence and giving it to a bloke in the crowd who had tried to make contact with him while on the field.....not too sure!

That scoreline almost did it for Centrals. 14 more scoring shots but 12 more behinds means a night out on goal kicking practice.

You have that right Spell check. we kicked badly but in the first term the doggies hunted heads and gave away frees in front of goals !!
I walked past the fan who got hit by gowans or hit gowans the security had him bailed up and his brother was saying gowans started it :D .then I walked past a doggies fan who was saying they both were at each other before the fists and flag hitting started !!

Why? Did they play the music? Was the goal umpire chasing a scantily clad girl, then being chased by the Police?
Or did the ABC just speed up the footage?

the dogs fight out the game for the full four quaters which is very disappointing........ it's definitely not a talent issue, we have the players to do the job, the question is - is the hunger still as strong as previous years

A top game. Eagles were in control, they deserved their win. For the dogs to level the score board in the last just shows how well they are coached..! I can only say,"Its not September"..!

But thats only an excuse.... We were out played for most of the day...!

PLEASE DON'T BAN FLAGS...!!!

BAN THE IDIOTS..... FOR LIFE...!

Where I was standing. Amongst the Central Faithfull infront of the southern stand (Name unknown, no disrespect) Flags waving, true united football cheering, chanting...! Well behaved...! This only adds to SANFL. It is on a world cup level...? Must never be discouraged with a flag ban. I can see it happening...
